The purpose of the study is to establish and formalize current trends in the construction and formation of international transport systems. In this regard, first of all, the definition of international transport systems is given. In modern conditions, the formation and development of national transport systems is largely determined by the focus on international transport and economic relations, and the possibility of attracting international transit cargo flows to the transport system of countries. In this paper, all systems of existing transport corridors, Euro-Asian transport directions, transport of regions of economic cooperation and existing agreements on international routes and lines on different types of transport are considered in the axiomatic of their classification as international transport systems. A retrospective analysis of the development of international transport systems, their transformation and conversion in the process of evolution is given. In conclusion, the paper provides recommendations on the need for further research related to the theoretical and conceptual justification of trends in the formation of international transport systems, the study of legal support for their functioning, modeling the interaction of different types of transport, the prospects for their development, the possible assessment of efficiency and other issues related to thisproblem.

The article presents the author's approach to building a gnoseological model of project management research from a system approach. The aim of the article is to form the conceptual principles of the theoretical and methodological basis for the analysis of project management processes based on axiomatic conditions of consistency. The methodological basis of the research was the theses of classical and modern economic theory and the research work of domestic and foreign scientists on project management issues. The author's methodological concept is based on the unification, within a systematic paradigm, of the Marxist school of political economy and the principles of the institutional trend. The basic hypothesis of the research was the assumption that it is possible and expedient to use a descriptive methodology for identifying systems to requests for managing investment projects as open systems. Statement of the basic material. Methodological analysis has shown that the system is an integrity which is capable of self-development, formed by a sufficient set of elements that are able to reproduce themselves and function relatively independently, united by a network of significant structural, genetic and subordinate links. In the analysis of investment projects, the content of these links is presented through the investment legal relationship. From the point of view of the system paradigm, an investment project can be regarded as an organisational, financial and technically conditioned integrity, formed by a sufficient set of elements (property, property rights and other values) capable of self-reproduction and united by an investment legal relationship that establishes structural and subordinate relationships. It has been proved that the circulation area is a necessary and sufficient condition for the integrity of investment projects, transforms individual capital into public capital and ensures its circulation and reproduction. Also, the axiomatic condition of unity for investment systems is implemented through a set of formal and informal rules (laws) of composition. Originality and practical relevance of the research. The theoretical and methodological concept has theoretical significance and can be transformed into an appropriate applied toolkit for developing scientific and practical recommendations for project management. Conclusions and prospects for further research. The conceptual theoretical and methodological basis for the analysis of project management processes based on axiomatic conditions of consistency allows us to define the system triad of an investment project and formally identify the basic system components. Further research will focus on the development of instrumental and methodological support for project management.

Use of the system approach to management of social and economic processes is connected with existence of the immanent contradiction caused by a high level of abstraction of the definition "system" and a considerable level of concreteness of real economic tasks. The mentioned thesis needs formalization of descriptors of socio-economic systems and identification of basic management contours. The purpose of the article is to substantiate the necessity of using a systematic approach to the construction of the socio-economic system construct based on the identification of relevant descriptors and management contours. The methodological basis of the study was a combination of the Marxist school of political economy, the modern economic mainstream and unorthodox currents within the systemic paradigm. The main hypothesis of the study was the assumption regarding the possibility and feasibility of using descriptive methodology of systems identification to the needs of management of socio-economic systems. Statement of the basic material. On the basis of the analysis, a certain basis is provided for the formation of correlations of correspondence of the descriptors of the national socio-economic system to the corresponding axiomatic conditions and basic components. It is proved that the dualistic understanding of the individual as an economic and institutional basic element of the socio-economic system is fully appropriate to the understanding of the essence of the national economy. Institutions should be seen as a structure of connections that combine the elements into a unified integrity. It is proved that the state and its institutions play a dialectical role in ensuring the integral existence of the national socio-economic system of market type. Originality and practical significance of the research. The resulting theoretical and methodological concept has theoretical significance and can be transformed into relevant tools for the development of scientific and practical recommendations on the management of socio-economic systems. Conclusions and prospects for further research. The results of generalization of theoretical statements on the essence and content of the definitions of "socio-economic system" and "national economy" led to the conclusion about the impossibility of considering the economic subsystem (national economy) separately from other subsystems. The expediency and sufficiency of the use of the definition "national socio-economic system" as more acceptable for solving the dialectical unity of social and economic subsystems of society was proved. Further research will focus on the development of the methodical support for the identification of management contours on the basis of socio-economic descriptors

Smart specialisation has become a popular approach to the strategic management of the innovative development of regional/national economies. However, there is no consensus in scientific circles on the theoretical origin of the concept of smart specialisation. Therefore, the purpose of the article is to analyze the influence of economic development theories on the formation of the theoretical basis of the concept of smart specialisation. It is established that the concept of smart specialisation is based on the definitions, patterns, and main factors of economic development defined by traditional economic schools. To form a systematized scientific knowledge about smart specialisation, the study focuses on modern economic theories that consider the possibilities of ensuring the development of economies based on knowledge and innovation. The article analyses the provisions of the theories of structural transformations, endogenous growth, evolutionary economics, agglomerations, innovative ecosystems and clusters, which are identified as the main ones that are related to and substantiate the ideas of smart specialisation. The most significant provisions of these theories from the point of view of forming the theoretical foundations of smart specialisation are highlighted. Based on the results of the conceptual analysis of the works of evolutionists, the author summarises the classes of industries by the organisation of innovation activity, indicating the peculiarities of innovation production depending on the sectoral affiliation of the participants involved in this process. The author emphasizes the coherence between the concept of smart specialisation and the theory of innovation ecosystems, which, unlike the concept of innovation systems, is more focused on creating conditions for productive collaboration of regional stakeholders in the process of entrepreneurial discovery. It is concluded that the concept of smart specialisation is a product of comprehension and organic integration of scientific views on achieving economic growth, choosing paths, using opportunities and ensuring innovative development of national/regional economies. The author’s vision of the theoretical basis of the concept of smart specialisation is presented, which, unlike the existing ones, specifies the pool of economic theories with the determination of their influence on the meaningful components of the concept of smart specialisation and singles out the theoretical core, functional components and axiomatic part of its basis, which theoretically substantiates the approach of smart specialisation.

The research paper considers the existing approaches to defining the essence of clusterization and clusters in foreign economies, and presents the analysis of conditions leading to the emergence and development of industrial clusters. Some practices of forming cluster structures in the developed countries are described. The role of industrial clusters in providing real economic growth and increasing efficiency of production is clarified. It is proved that using the cluster approach in Ukraine is a necessary foundation for a revival of regional manufacturing and thereby ensuring a high level of the national economy’s competitiveness. The aim of the article is to undertake an in-depth study of international concepts and axiomatic doctrines of integration processes on the basis of using the cluster approaches, which may become the foundation of applied research devoted to efficient functioning of industrial associations as a priority of structural modernization and acceleration of innovation and investment growth of the national manufacturing. The cluster approach has emerged from implementing a policy of foreign countries focused on the development of regions. Implementation of clustering in international activities clearly demonstrates its advancement and efficiency. An important factor of improving efficiency is the organizational factor associated with the regional association of manufacturers. The regions in whose territories clusters are formed become leaders in national economies and foreign economic relations. The study of the basic concepts of competition and global practices of business activities allows us to conclude that the theory of cluster mechanisms serves as a basis for establishing more successful firms and economic systems. Cluster systems combine the most effective and interconnected types of economic activity by grouping successfully competing firms that form the leading component of the whole economic system of the state and create competitive positions in the sectoral, national and global markets. The cluster approach, which was originally used to research issues of competitiveness of individual groups of enterprises, subsequently have become applicable in solving a wider range of tasks: the analysis of the competitiveness of the state, region, sector; as a basis of national manufacturing policy; as a basis for the interaction of big and small businesses.

This research discusses and analyses cutting-edge applications for water-energy-food nexus system analysis. It is axiomatic that substantial data should be acquired for a comprehensive model. The WEF nexus simulator may therefore be built to any extent by using simulated data future integral field spectroscopic (IFs and THENs) for WEF nexus interaction. The required data was then organized, and interactions (IFs and THENs) between the three subsystems were investigated. These IFs and THENs aid in our understanding of and ability to address the intricacy of the WEF. Given that the present study’s objective is to review various solutions for WEF Nexus We can now use these classifications to simplify the WEF nexus idea. In other words, the relationship between the three subsystems is demonstrated by the IFs and THENs variables. It would make sense to remove one of the following THEN variables from one subsystem if one of the IF variables in another subsystem remained. Because earlier Nexus initiatives did not provide information on how to initiate and discover interactions, it will be simple to determine interactions. This study demonstrates how a thorough nexus simulation model can access and communicate a wide range of data. The nexus model's interrelationships and interactions with other subsystems can be easily recovered thanks to this classification approach, and none of them will be missed because of ignorance of the nexus system. These IFs and THENs variables are also seen to be an excellent way to simplify the implementation of the Nexus system. The overall score for each project was then calculated by adding the weighted scores, which provided a methodical and objective way to rank the 29 irrigation and hydroelectric dam projects. This study is the first study in Iraq about water-energy and food nexus and helping to streamline decision-making at the nexus due to the size of the several sectors in the Iraqi human society Following input from NWDS stakeholders, three new factors to take into account when deciding which irrigation project options to pursue were identified: a) Fighting poverty; b) Building irrigation projects close to Iraq's borders to ensure border security. 3) Rural Population Decline or Poverty Exodus. It's important to note that the nation places the highest priority on these three factors (Key Priorities National). Irrigation projects may now be planned in a deliberate manner that takes into account the observations of the relevant authorities thanks to the adoption of these aims together with the strategic assessment criteria. It takes scientific input to create "resource indexes".

The relevance of the research topic is determined by special attention to the development of «green» energy in the state policy of the People's Republic of China. The problem of the development of the Chinese energy sector is the shift of priorities to the search for alternative, clean energy sources that will replace oil and gas. Analysis of recent publications ensures in a persistent interest in the problems of alternative energy in the majority of countries implementing stable economic growth. According to the authors, the processes of integration of alternative energy into the energy system of China, a country with high rates of economic growth, remain unexplored. The purpose of the study is to substantiate the choice of economic instruments for the integration of alternative energy into the energy system of China. The research methods used in the work are comparison, grouping, systems approach, formalization, axiomatic method, analogies, abstraction and modeling. Results of work. Within the framework of this study, the dynamics of changes in the structure of energy consumption in China has been studied, from the point of view of energy sources. China's energy policy issues go hand in hand with its economic policy goals. The country needs to support rapid development and economic growth, but in a much less energy-intensive way. This is widely recognized by the Chinese government, but significant changes in energy consumption versus production could mean major changes in its economic structure. The field of application of the research results is the energy policy of the state, aimed at the greening of life. Findings. The transition to renewable energy is inevitable, so the question is how best to manage this process while minimizing the total cost of energy services and the cost of damage caused by energy use. The combination of energy efficient and renewable energy sources will eventually replace the existing traditional energy system, which is dominated by fossil fuels. The most important factor for such an early transition is the need to address the problem of catastrophic climate change.

A choice rule with affirmative action decides on the recipients of a limited number of identical objects by reconciling two objectives: respecting a priority ordering over the applicants and supporting a minority group. We extend the standard formulation of a choice problem by incorporating a type function and a priority ordering and introduce monotonicity axioms on how a choice rule should respond to variations in these parameters. We show that monotonic and substitutable affirmative action rules are the ones that admit a bounded reserve representation. As a prominent class of choice rules that satisfy the monotonicity axioms, we characterize lexicographic affirmative action rules that are prevalent both in the literature and in practice. Our axiomatic approach provides a novel way to think about reserve systems and uncovers choice rules that go beyond lexicographic affirmative action rules. Theoretical background: Financial statements, due to their verifiability, retain their importance as a fundamental accounting tool trusted by stakeholders. At the same time, the transition to a socio-economic development paradigm has dictated a demand for adhering to requirements which make the information useful for taking informed decisions, primarily those concerning responsible investing. In this regard, the challenge of measuring the usefulness of information requires an in-depth study. Purpose of the article: Consequently, the aim of this work is to develop a model for measuring the practicality of financial reporting based on the interpretation of qualitative characteristics and to substantiate the effectiveness of its application by any accounting system. Research methods: To achieve the objective, a research methodology has been developed, based on the methods of analysis, mathematical, and algorithmic modeling. The analysis method was employed to interpret the concept of qualitative characteristics of information, establishing a correlation between the information theory and the accounting methodology. The modeling method contributed to the development of a three-stage algorithm for choosing one of two modifications within the framework of the qualitative characteristics of information concept and the mechanism for measuring numerical values of information utility for different accounting models – European and Anglo-Saxon. Main findings: An algorithm has been developed for applying the criteria of the qualitative characteristics concept to choose one of its two modifications. The innovation of the study lies in the development of a step-by-step mechanism for determining the numerical value of information usefulness for various accounting systems. Information entropy coefficients have been established, and axiomatic boundaries of the values of the usefulness of financial reporting information have been calculated for different accounting models. The developed model for measuring the usefulness of financial reporting information has been adapted for international accounting systems and underscores the necessity of a creative approach when applying the qualitative characteristics concept to accounting systems situated between IFRS and the EU Directive.

Topicality. In the economy of Ukraine, there are macroeconomic, inter- and intra-sectoral, regional disparities, the appearance of which is due to the existing structure of the economy, the focus on raw material exports, low-tech production, uneven inter-sectoral development, the discrepancy between the needs of the regions and their returns, and many other reasons. The presence of these disparities not only slows down the development of the economy, but also threatens the economic security of Ukraine.Aim and tasks. Taking into account the specified strategic directions, the following tasks are set in the work: to determine the factors influencing the economy and its sectors, which lead to the emergence of structural disparities, to determine the peculiarities inherent in the agro-industrial sector, to identify and systematize the influencing factors in order to develop a strategy and management system based on resilience, to develop methodological approaches to identifying structural disparities in the agri-food sector of the economy.Materials and Methods. Identification of structural disparities, assessment of their effect and depth was carried out using methods of analysis and synthesis, scientific abstraction and statistical grouping, which made it possible to analyze the nature of the process of formation of disparities, to determine the most persistent violations of proportionality at all levels of development of the agro-food sector with the aim of targeted application of preventive prevention measures their negative impact and constructive way out of crisis situations.Research results. From the point of view of the axiomatic of the theory of complex systems, the mechanism of the emergence of structural disparities has been clarified, as a response to a high level of complexity, a rapid change in influencing factors that determine the dynamics of the development of the agro-food sector of the economy, and numerical risks caused by uncertainty, which provokes the emergence of conflict between individual subsystems of the agricultural sector. Priority zones of disproportionality were determined by studying the structure of the population according to individual characteristics.Conclusion. Ensuring sustainable development of the country and its economic security is achieved by the ability to resist the action of external and internal factors, existing and newly created at any economic level of disparities. The peculiarities of the strategy for the development of economic sectors on the basis of resilience are determined. It is shown that the implementation of such a strategy, for any sector of the economy, is based on a well-founded objective and the conclusions of the analysis of modern challenges and the intersection of the interests of market players.

Packaging has a significant impact on the efficiency and effectiveness of the supply chain, where improvement can be achieved through the development and selection of an appropriate packaging system. One way to explore this is through the development and use of mathematical models that facilitate economic analysis of packaging systems. Recently, one of the most remarkable trends in logistics is the extensive use of returnable or reusable containers. Returnable container systems have increasingly been introduced in various industries to take advantages of cost savings, but it is very crucial to ensure that a reusable packaging system is an economical packaging choice. In this thesis, an extensive study of an economic analysis of disposable, recyclable, and reusable packaging systems is conducted. This includes identification of significant cost factors and variables involved in the management of disposable, recyclable and reusable packaging systems, and formulation of a mathematical model to compare total cost of packaging systems. The developed mathematical model can be used to choose the most economical packaging system for industries. The linear programming (LP) method is used to develop the mathematical model. The various new factors such as the collapsible ratio of recyclable, disposable and reusable packages have been introduced for the first time in the economic analysis of the packaging systems. The developed mathematical model can be used for a range of industries and for different industry scenarios. The packaging system information of Toyota assembly plant is used for the validation of a mathematical model. The obtained results are compared with previous research based on the same data set and results found in concert with the finding of previous research which validate the model.

The continuous escalation of intermittent energy added to the grid and forecasts of peaking power demand increments are rising the effort spent for evaluating the economic feasibility of energy storages. The aim of this research is the techno-economic analysis of Compressed Air Energy Storage (CAES) systems, capable of storing large quantities of off-peak electric energy in the form of high-pressure air, as an ―energy stock‖ which allows the production of high-profit on-peak electricity when required by the grid. Several studies of both conventional and innovative adiabatic concepts are carried out in order to identify and improve the parameters that mostly affect the plant performances. Technical models, that consider the effect of time, are developed to evaluate the parameters that reduce the electric energy spent for compressing the air and that maximize the electric energy produced. In the conventional plant, particular attention is put on the understanding of the effects of air storage pressure range, recuperator, reheating and Turbine Inlet Temperature. For the adiabatic instead, a thorough analysis of the challenging Thermal Energy Storage (TES) is performed for understanding the advantages and drawbacks of this novel efficient concept of CAES. In a further step the economic analyses are aimed at evaluating the different configurations proposed in the technical investigation and the effects that variations of generation train and storage characteristics have on the profitability. After an analysis of the TES impact on the profits, a final comparison is carried out against two existing technologies: Pumped Hydro Energy Storage and gas turbine. The results of these studies confirm, from a technical and economic point of view, the reasons of the growing interest toward CAES as a feasible solution to manage the intermittent energy production. In particular they underline the conventional CAES as promising technology to undertake.

Against the backdrop of rising oil prices and increasing uncertainty in the future of energy and the health of the environment, wind energy is distinguished as a leading technology that is both technologically and economically viable for large-scale non-petroleum and non-polluting energy generation. The deployment of wind energy technology on floating platforms in deep water offshore environments has emerged as a forward-thinking application of this technology. This thesis takes some early steps toward the development of innovative and cost-effective floating platforms to support a 5-MW wind turbine for deployment in water depths of 30 - 300 meters. A tool for performing a coupled structural, hydrodynamic, and aerodynamic analysis of floating wind turbine systems in the frequency domain was developed and is presented. This analysis tool includes the effects of the gyroscopic loads of the wind turbine rotor on the tower and floater, the aerodynamic damping introduced by the wind turbine rotor, the hydrodynamic added mass and damping introduced by wave-body interactions, and the hydrodynamic forces caused by wave excitation.
(cont.) This analysis tool was applied to several structures representing excerpts of the design space of structures capable of supporting large wind turbines. The structures were evaluated on their dynamic performance in several environmental conditions and on their installed cost. An economic analysis was also carried out to determine the cost of the floating platform for the wind turbine per kWh of electricity generated.

Additive manufacturing (AM) positions as a system in systems (SoS) to which ecosystem is often difficult to assess in cost curve in bulk, peculiarly in challenging mediums. This paper presents an AM-related solution in the aerospace domain of recent sources forming a review of future space manufacturing. The paper presents an example of a sustainable circular economy based on AM through systematic product lifecycle management (PLM) design domain implementation methodology. Developing an agile business sustainable human system integration (HSI) model, human factors, and ergonomics (HFEs) based on the surrounding medium and structure with fine-designed system fidelity require reciprocal signal communication. A turbulent market environment shaped future communication space between domains of human systems stakeholders sets challenges on communication. HSI applies the ecosystem design to comply with various sectors' companies' stakeholders. The HSI design ensures that the design can simplify by the systems engineering method utilizing axiomatic design (AD). The mathematical AD analysis results as a design matrix (DM) that qualitatively represents the internal design parameters as SoS for energy capture, reuse with dynamic motion innovation on thermal power propulsion, and THz-controlled semi-autonomous operations. Future studies in virtualizing models in the metaverse are proposed for the design solution of the system.

In this study, a methodology is suggested by applying axiomatic design theory to multi-objective optimization of engineering design problems. In axiomatic design, Semangularity (S) and Reangularity (R) are utilized to decide which design is better. However it is not used for optimization purpose. This proposed methodology is applied on two case studies, as theoretical and thermal system multi-criteria optimization problems. It is foreseen that this methodology will reduce the degree of coupling in design optimization.

Finally, contribute to the success of running of projects, especially in the complex environment. The current global market enhance communication and contribute to the prosperity of economy, whereas it also increases the competition. Knowledge management system, as the output of knowledge management, plays an indispensable role in a complex environment. Furthermore, the current literature do not offer us the wide viewpoint of the knowledge management in a complex environment from a holistic perspective. The first step of conducting the research in this topic is knowing the background of complex environment and knowledge management system. There are different expressions of definition of complex environment. However, these parameters are vital for complex environment, which are stakeholders, interfaces, approach, disciplines, resources, project environment, strategy. In the meantime, we can also narrow the parameters by axiomatic design theory. They are strategy, political conditions, environmental dimensions, stakeholders. Furthermore, we have to realize that complexity exists in the projects. Not only complex environment but also other complex factors can lead to varying degrees of complexity. By summing up the aforesaid analysis, the complex environment in the project can be defined as a project which has multiple unpredictable stakeholders, high importance, a plenty of disagreement and demand of decision-making process and dimension of change imposed on environment. The complex environment, the environment which is full of uncertainties, is value being studied. Knowledge management system, a systemic solution of knowledge management, is the core competency of an organization. And it makes a great significance on the success of the project. However, we have to realize that knowledge is complex, which is factual, conceptual and procedural. That is why this paper introduces the taxonomy to help us to create the knowledge management system. The second step is building the taxonomy based on knowledge management system in a complex environment. Taxonomy, which comes from the biological field, as a significant method, has been used in many other research fields. The initial conception of taxonomy is referred to classification of living organisms. However, the taxonomy has been broadly used in many other fields for classifications. This paper focuses on the taxonomy application in knowledge management system in a complex environment, which finds the common characteristics of knowledge management system in a complex environment. In terms of the knowledge management system, it shows its high importance in organizations which are in the complex and international market. This paper is to present a taxonomy of knowledge management system in a complex environment to provide a depict of this phenomenon. Then, we use taxonomy to figure out the phenomenon from a holistic perspective, which can reduce the complexity and lower the difficulty of understanding. The taxonomy provides us the useful tool for creating the knowledge management system for the projects in a complex environment. The paper is based on the extensive literature review. The final discussion will contribute to the architecture of knowledge management system in a complex environment. This work is done in a ship-building context. The related project is SEUS , which belongs to EU Horizon.
