Purpose: Integrated management system (IMS) assumes a crucial part in the administration of hierarchical issues and issues that connect with work whether formal or casual. Theoretical Framework: The way that the IMS consolidates different administration frameworks that all alone guarantee positive result creates it a brilliant framework that can ensure authoritative greatness. Despite the fact that that is the situation, the contention has been how much might IMS at any point add to the accomplishment of hierarchical greatness? In that capacity, this calculated structure looks for feature the effect of IMS execution in associations. Design/ Methodology/ Approach: IMS impact on hierarchical greatness was resolved in view of client center, development practices and association responsibility. Concerning IMS impact on association advancement, the perspectives that were given a lot of thought included process development, item development, innovation development and showcasing development. Finding: Conversation on IMS was generally founded on how it connects with association development and greatness and its impact on authoritative culture and the most effective way of carrying out the IMS in an association. Speculation in light of finding out the degree of IMS effect on association development and greatness and how they interrelate. Implications: The results of this study approves the calculated model that encourages mindfulness and execution of IMS in associations. Also, the result of this examination gives observational proof that associations who are zeroing in on greatness through IMS might make progress in the work. Originality: This exploration applied review reports and calculated development model to quantify the degree of carrying out IMS, which incorporates the monetary, ecological, and security factors (for example ISO 9001 for quality administration frameworks (QMS), ISO 14001 for ecological administration frameworks (EMS) and ISO 45001 for Occupational Health and Safety the executives into a solitary measure to characterize the effect of feasible execution of IMS on hierarchical greatness enough.

European Federation of Psychiatric Trainees (EFPT) is an umbrella organization for national psychiatric trainee associations in Europe, aiming to develop collaboration between psychiatric trainees. EFPT states that organised trainee interest is crucial in promoting high quality psychiatric training, therefore it promotes that both general adult psychiatry and child and adolescent psychiatry trainees are represented by national trainee association in each European country. The Maintaining and Establishing a National Trainee Association Working Group (MENTA WG), a permanent EFPT working group, has been created to assist trainees in building a local trainee organization. MENTA WG supports organising meetings, helps manage the problems of functioning of an association, sends letters of support to national decision makers, helps prepare the organization's bylaws and facilitates the process of application for full EFPT membership. The group also helps reactivate the inactive associations and assists them in expansion and developing new initiatives. MENTA WG maintains close collaboration with the European Psychiatric Association Early Career Psychiatrists Committee (EPA ECPC) Task Force on Meetings and Associations and other organizations dedicated to early career psychiatrists, such as the Young Psychiatrists’ Network. In the last few years, due to the work done within MENTA WG, the EFPT family has grown and welcomed new official members, such as: Poland, Spain and Slovakia. Currently, we are planning on supporting trainees in Moldova, Bulgaria and Kosovo to establish new official organizations in these countries. We also expand our activities beyond Europe and offer counselling for psychiatric trainees from such countries as Australia or South Africa.Disclosure of interestThe author has not supplied his declaration of competing interest.

The Association of Indonesian Doctors has been formed and declared in a Decree of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights, Number AHU-003638.AH.01.07.2022. The Indonesian Doctors Association is no longer the sole forum for medical organizations in Indonesia. The study of the legality of this new association and the study of the organization of the Indonesian Doctors' Association have violated the right to associate and human rights because it is the sole forum for the medical professional organization which is the focus of the problem raised by the author. The study uses a normative juridical approach to seek answers with certainty and legal certainty through existing legal theories, norms and legislation. The conclusions obtained are that in order to protect patients, improve service quality, and ensure legal and statutory certainty, the medical professional association or organization must be one. Determination of quality and service, competency standards, and professional ethics must come from a professional organization. With a noble purpose, a single professional organization does not violate the law on association and human rights. The presence of a new medical society organization will not interfere with the position of the Indonesian Doctors Association as a professional organization. The suggestion from this study is that new organizations such as the Association of Indonesian Doctors must synergize and become the task force for the Indonesian Doctors Association in controlling the running of the organization while simultaneously providing a driving force for services to the Indonesian people. Though always present in penal codes, offenses based on belonging to a criminal organization occupy a vanguard position in today's evolution of penal law systems: organized crime is located at one of the most prominent places in the criminal policy agenda. Nevertheless, neither criminal law theory nor the actual content of criminal provisions nor the putting of theory into practice enables an adequate restriction of the interpretation of the laws against criminal organizations. Therefore we need to investigate the wrongfulness at the base of this offense. European legal scholarship has proposed two basic approaches: to consider that this offense anticipates the possibility of punishing and prosecuting such behavior (anticipation theory) or to consider that it harms a collective interest ("public security," "public peace"). From our perspective, it is necessary to underline the collective wrongfulness embedded in a criminal organization and that, beyond the actual crimes committed, it questions the monopoly of violence exercised by the state. It represents the constitution of a violent organization that counters the basis of state political organization (arrogation of political organization). This approach opens a possibility to adequately define the offense of belonging to a criminal organization.

The Russian legislator does not have a systematic approach to criminalizing the creation of groups of a certain orientation, their leadership and participation in such groups. At first glance, a variety of norms containing a ban on the commission of such acts are the norms of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, enshrined in the Part. 1-3 tbsp. 239 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. These norms prohibit the creation of associations or organizations, their management and participation in them. This prohibition is due to the nature of the activities of the relevant association or organization. The problem is that we are talking about associations or organizations that have legal status in the Russian Federation, and the activities of the leaders or participants of such organizations, which are prohibited by the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, go beyond the scope determined by their legal status. Thus, a participant or head of a legally existing organization can carry out illegal activities under the guise of such an organization without complicity with anyone, and, consequently, the norms of Art. 239 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation cannot be classified as special norms of the Special Part on criminal associations, since the presence of a criminal association when committing these crimes is an optional circumstance.

Abstract Abstract SCI-17 We have investigated the relationships between lineage-specific gene expression, and total genomic organization during hematopoiesis. First, we determined the linear chromosomal distribution of genes that are co-regulated (identified via microarray analysis) when murine hematopoietic progenitor cells (FDCP-mixA) are differentiated to the erythroid and neutrophil lineages, as well as the organization of all chromosomes (in the form of rosettes) in the three cell types. Our analysis revealed a significant tendency for co-regulated genes to be proximal, which is related to the association of homologous chromosomes and the spatial juxtaposition of lineage-specific gene domains. This led us to hypothesize that the genome—at the level of chromosomes—may self-organize to facilitate coordinate gene regulation during cellular differentiation. We tested this hypothesis by applying the approaches of distance matrices and coupled oscillators to our datasets of gene expression and chromosomal associations from the differentiation of the progenitor to the erythroid and neutrophil lineages. Our analysis revealed that coordinate gene expression undergoes a phase transition—characterized by an increase in entropy—upon commitment of the progenitor. As differentiation continues, there is a gradual loss of entropy, culminating in a highly ordered state in the differentiated cell types. The coregulated gene sets of the semi-ordered progenitor and ordered erythroid and neutrophil lineages are significantly correlated with lineage-specific chromosomal association patterns. Furthermore, by transforming the gene expression networks along the time course to corresponding chromosomal association matrices, we found that chromosomal topologies change dynamically during differentiation but, as with gene expression, result in a more highly ordered state in the differentiated cell types. Our analysis demonstrates that the networks of co-regulated gene expression and chromosomal association are mutually related during differentiation, resulting in the self-organization of lineage-specific chromosomal topologies. Disclosures No relevant conflicts of interest to declare.

The article is devoted to the issues of legal regulation of citizen associations in Ukraine since the content itself and structure of the right to “freedom of association” at the level of the Constitution are not detailed. At the same time, legal regulation at the level of laws also introduces ambiguity into the conceptual apparatus and leads to the conclusion that legal regulation in this area is not systematized. The article examines the constitutional provisions of the right to freedom of association in political parties and public organizations to exercise and protect one’s rights and freedoms and satisfy political, economic, social, cultural, and other interests, and analyzes the term “association” in the legislation of Ukraine. Features, which are common to all associations of citizens are highlighted, such as the voluntary nature of the association; the presence of specific intangible, but legally permitted goals; self-organization and self-regulation; and lack of authoritative powers in citizens’ associations. The article proposes to include creative unions, religious organizations, and the association of condominiums to the three types of associations foreseen by the Constitution: political parties, public organizations, and trade unions.

This study applied a qualitative approach with a case study method. Student organizations have a crucial role in providing insight, sense, and spirit of Indonesian nationalism that is wrapped in the frame of Unity in Diversity. One of the challenges faced by a student organization in Indonesia is the ability of this organization to protect its noble goals from certain interests, which can direct the activities to the issues that violate the motto. In this context, cadre in student organizations must strive to foster and strengthen the spirit of nationalism. The presence of a student religious organization provides its uniqueness that is noteworthy to study. Therefore, this study will identify how the concept of student religious organization regeneration, especially the Islamic Student Association. In this article, the researcher views that the cadre of a religious student organization such as the Islamic Student Association has a very unique and strong style of regeneration. This research itself is related to extra-student activities where students should be aware that the majors student association is an organization that is under the auspices of the department where they carry out lecture activities, therefore a department-level student organization should not have a negative impact on student academic activities as its members. , on the contrary, this student organization should have a positive impact on academic activities and student achievement as its members. The organization a student participates in can also shape the character of a student in it. However, students who join these organizations must also consider or maintain the academic value of their studies. According to the flow of times, livelihood autonomy centered on residents is strengthened, and the necessity for existence of residents' association to solve various local problems by themselves, to raise awareness of democratic participation, and to revitalize local autonomy is emerging. The residents' association is a representative organization for residents' autonomy and a public-private cooperative organization for Eup, Myeon, and Dong. Residents' associations perform various tasks such as matters necessary for harmony and development of residents in the Eup, Myeon, and Dong, matters concerning the handling of affairs entrusted by local governments, and other matters entrusted by relevant laws, ordinances, or rules. Of the 3,500 Eup, Myeon, and Dong, there were 47 local residents' associations in 2017, but the number increased to 1,013 in 2021. This thesis conducted a study on leadership of an organization named the Residents' Association, organizational culture, and organizational performance. This study investigated the situation for organization of residents' association and derived its implications through empirical analysis(Residents' Association Leaders n=125). The empirical analysis results are as follows. Firstly, in the leadership of residents' association(structure-led type, considerate type) and organizational culture(rational culture, hierarchical culture, development culture, consensus culture) of the residents' association, structural-led leadership had a significant positive (+) influence on rational culture, considerate-typed leadership had a significant positive (+) influence on rational culture, developmental culture, and consensus culture. Secondly, in organizational culture(rational culture, hierarchical culture, developmental culture, consensus culture) and organizational performance(non-financial performance, financial performance), rational culture and consensus culture had a significant positive (+) influence on non-financial performance and rational culture had a significant positive (+) influence on financial performance. Lastly, in the leadership(structural-led type, considerate type) and organizational performance(non-financial performance, financial performance), structural-led leadership had a significant positive (+) influence on financial performance, and considerate type had a significant positive influence on financial performance. Currently, studies on residents' associations are insufficient, and there are no studies on leadership of residents' associations, organizational culture, and organizational performance. The history of studies on Residents' Associations, which started in 2013, is as short as 10 years. The social organization of mammal-eating "transient" killer whales (Orcinus orca) was studied off southern Vancouver Island from 1985 through 1996. Strong and long-term associations exist between individual transients, so sets of individuals with consistently high association levels, termed pods, can be delineated. Pods consist of individuals of mixed ages and sexes, and typically contain an adult female and one or two offspring (averaging 2.4 individuals). The mother-offspring bond remains strong into adulthood for some male (and less often for female) offspring. Other males disperse from their maternal pod and appear to become "roving" males, spending some of their time alone, and occasionally associating with groups that contain potentially reproductive females. These males appear to have no strong or long-term relationships with any individuals, and adult male - adult male associations occur significantly less often than expected by chance. Females that disperse from their natal pod appear to be gregarious (having high average association rates) but socially mobile (having low maximum association rates). Differences in social organization from the sympatric fish-eating "resident" killer whales (where no dispersal of either sex occurs) likely relate to differences in foraging ecology. Transient killer whales maximize per capita energy intake by foraging in groups of three individuals, whereas no such relationship has been documented for resident killer whales.

In their treatise on meta-organization, Ahrne and Brunsson theorize a distinctive organizational form, the association of organizations. Meta-organizations have the properties of formal organizations—boundaries set by determinations of membership, goals, a centre of authority, and ways of monitoring and sanctioning member behaviors. The theory draws a strong distinction between meta-organizations and networks, suggesting that similarity among members is the primary characteristic of meta-organizations, whereas networks signify complementarity and difference. Meta-organizations serve and are governed by their members, though the meta-organization itself may develop its own agency and may regulate its members. It is on this basis that Ahrne and Brunsson develop an account of the dynamics of meta-organizations, placing less emphasis on external sources of change than on the internal relationships between members and the meta-organization itself. This paper appraises the theory of meta-organizations, using a case study of Partners in Paediatrics, a subscription association of health care organizations, as the empirical reference point. Data about this partnership’s membership and its activities are drawn from 12 ‘annual reports’ covering a 17-year period. Focusing, particularly, on the membership composition of the Partnership and its relationship to the changing environment, the case analysis traces the changing character and circumstances of the Partnership, identifying four distinct phases, and raising questions for meta-organization theory and its account of meta-organization dynamics.

The aim of our study is to discuss whether the key frequently identified destination attributes desired by associations and meeting planners determine the number of association meetings organized by each country in 2014. Regression analysis was used by ordinary least squares for the number of association meetings organized in 2014 by each country that shows the importance of 12 countries’ destination attributes reported in the meetings, incentives, conventions and events/exhibitions sector literature and included in the travel and tourism competitiveness index. Our study contributes to the literature in two ways: (i) to identify and evaluate the key attributes in the attraction of association meetings (until now dispersed) and (ii) empirically test the importance of these attributes in the selection of meeting host country. From a practical perspective, these findings give valuable information for destination management organizations and meeting planners about the factors that should be improved in each country in order to be selected more often in the organization of those events.

This study investigated organization of words in the mental lexicon of grade 4 students. For this purpose, one hundred students of grade 4 were selected from the sample schools. This study employed a non-probability convenience sampling technique. The word association test was used to collect the data, which involved selecting 40 words from grade 4 English textbooks taught at three different private sector schools under three respective education systems. This study employed quantitative method to collect the responses of sample students in word association test. The data was analyzed by using Fitzpatrick’s (2007) model of classification of association response. The results showed that position-based association, which accounted for 56.95% of the total collected data dominated the distribution of the data; 17.95% of connections were meaning-based; whereas collocation associations were prevalent in position-based association test. The findings of the word association test showed that the participants’ mental lexicon was impacted by their comprehension and use of the target term. The research concluded that in the participants’ mental lexicon, position-based association was the strongest lexical network. The findings implied that teaching vocabulary and its meanings was insufficient for expanding English language learners’ mental lexicon. This study was helpful for English language teachers to teach English vocabulary based on a proper understanding of the organization of the mental lexicon of English language learners.

The United Planters' Association of South India (UPASI), formed in 1893 at the zenith of British colonial rule in India, was an organization dedicated to the interests of British planters, mainly tea planters, of South India. In the first half century of its history, UPASI enjoyed an unusual degree of effectiveness and control. Its authority and reach owed to the fact that, unlike many other planters' organizations of the time, such as the Ceylon Planters' Association and the Planters' Association of Malay, UPASI was an “association of associations,” a cartel of cartels, its members being district associations. But its power also derived from the homogeneous ethnic composition of the firms that constituted and managed this body, making it an exclusive association of Europeans in an Indian world. In this article, I show how this combination of ethnicity and cooperation, dynamics that manifested across the entire range of modern businesses started in colonial India, proved to be both a source of strength and a point of weakness.

The article is devoted to the history of the formation and activity of one of the first in the history of independent Ukraine public organizations of the national Greek community, i.e. the Kyiv City Association of the Greeks. After all, in today’s world, public associations of national minorities are an extremely important structural component of the civil society, which can play both a consolidating role and serve as a source of aggravation of interethnic conflicts. The grounds of the source base of the research were the materials of the current archive of this organization (the Statute, protocols of meetings, resolutions, agreements, etc.), part of which in 2017 was already transferred to the funds of the Central State Archives of public associations of Ukraine. However, up to now, these documents have not become available yet to the general public concerned. Taking this into consideration, we find it appropriate to publish some of them in the full volume as an annex to this research, especially those that most clearly highlight the main achievements of the organization in the development of national and cultural life of the Greek community of Kyiv and Ukraine in general, and show the dynamics of the establishment of the Ukrainian-Greek intercultural dialogue. Important information on the activity of the Kyiv City Association of the Greeks is found on the pages of its printed edition, the newspaper “Elpida”, as well as on the organization site operating since 2016. The importance of recording and systematization of information on the current institutional development of national minorities in Ukraine is preconditioned by the necessity to form a conscious evaluation of the role of associations of national minorities in the process of forming public associations and the establishment of national Ukrainian culture in opinion of public and scientific communities.

ABSTRACT This case is based on actual fraud at a not-for-profit organization. In this case, students assume the role of a volunteer forensic investigator who assists the local police department to investigate the possible embezzlement case for a recreation association. Students learn about the activities and the people who are involved with the association. Through the examination of various documents, they identify any discrepancies between the association's accounting records and bank statements. Students apply the fraud triangle to gain a perspective on the possible motivation, opportunity, and rationalization of the likely perpetrator. Students become familiar with the concept of embezzlement and larceny, and recommend fraud prevention practices for the association. After completing this case, students are more aware of why and how small not-for-profit organizations are more susceptible to fraud than are other organizations. This case is appropriate for use in a forensic accounting course or an advanced auditing course.

This paper looks at the history of Orel, the Catholic physical education association, and its foreign relations up to 1929. The origins of the Orel movement in the Czech region of Austria-Hungary go back to the turn of the 20th century when the first local Orel associations were established. These associations were strongly connected with Czech political Catholicism. Shortly after being formed, their functionaries began to establish their first contacts with existing foreign organizations. Most of these organizations were from the area of contemporary Slovenia. Their number rose significantly after the First World War when the newly independent Czechoslovakian Orel became a member of the Catholic physical education union – UIOCEP. The members of this organization were all around the world. The number of foreign contacts it had established was also on the increase. The first international physical educational festival, which helped Czechoslovak Orel with its development, was organized in Brno in 1922. But the Czechoslovakian Orel had planned a second big festival of physical education for 1929, hoping to further extend its number of foreign friends. The second physical educational festival was also successful. It helped Czechoslovak Orel to increase its influence in UIOCEP where it became the second-largest organization.

Agile ways of working have been applied to single organizations and corporations. But cases on agility for non-profit associations dealing with a multitude of members, geographies and their own boards are scarce. Can agility also be applied in a non-profit networked organizational setting in a way that creates value, rather than destroying it? The focus of this article will be on the outcomes of piloting agility with a virtual long-distance team across Europe, including benefits and pitfalls. Value should be created through virtual teams of the association: both for the benefit of members and the association itself. If there is no or little value created there, the members will be unlikely to participate in these groups, undermining the added value of the association. Currently, these teams do not all create value for the membership, and sometimes even destroy value by costing the membership time and money and not delivering relevant output. In this pilot study, one virtual group was followed, interviews with the group members have been held and the members of the association were surveyed about the existing situation in the focal organization. We found that an agile way of working is beneficial for a virtual team and implementing this in an ailing virtual team can give it new élan. This way, the teams can deliver value to the membership, and thus to the association, instead of the groups not functioning well leading to value destruction for the association, as members might turn away from the association for their sought added value. Further, the network organization itself partially shows traits of organizational agility, which could be improved to fully support virtual teams.

The results of the study indicate that, initially, the advocate organizational system as a single bar association leads to multi bar association. Among the weaknesses on the regulation of advocate organizations are the lack of a solid advocate organization, compulsion to establish new advocate organization, a judicial intervention in the administration of an advocate's oath, commercialization of special education for advocate without any standardized curriculum and test. Annotation:
Contingency theorists have consistently identified size as a major factor influencing the structure of an organization. This study examines the size-structure relationship in a set of voluntary sport organizations (VSOs). The results of the study generally support the trends identified in the organization theory literature; they also demonstrate that VSOs have unique features that influence the effect that size has on their structural arrangements. This is most noticeable when the association, or more specifically the lack of association, between size and the structure of decision making is examined. The relationship between professionals and volunteers, and their associated struggle for control of these organizations, is identified as a principal factor contributing to this situation.
