Web API recommendations have recently been studied extensively. However, recommending an API for a service is different than service intelligence. Web API automatic calls are widely used in question–answer dialog applications and service-composed workflow systems to achieve intelligent services. To finish an automatic Web API call not only requires the Web API ID, but also its input parameters. In this paper, we propose an end-to-end Web API automatic calls approach, named WAAC, that translates a goal’s natural language sentences directly to the Web API invoking sequences including its ID and parameters. This end-to-end approach based on the seq2seq encoder–decoder framework, adopts character-level RNN for the Chinese sentences and introduces a copying mechanism to retrieve API parameters. To train the network, a Chinese version dataset of over 1 million natural sentences and API invoking sequence pairs are generated with some manually labeled data and 72 real Web API invoking logs. Experiments obtain a 96% precision on predicting API invoking sequences and show that the character-level RNN and copying mechanism both contribute considerably to achieving a high precision Web API automatic call system for goal-oriented services.

The purpose of this study is the for knowing the quality of services which include reliability, responsiveness, assurance, empathy, tangibles effect on user satisfaction services of PT Kereta Api Indonesia in Division 1 North Sumatra in the distribution of CPO and for knowing what variable most dominant influence on satisfaction of service users PT Kereta Api Indonesia Division 1 North Sumatra in the distribution of CPO. The sampling method was census method. Respondents in this study is a train service users in the process of distribution of CPO and samples taken between 5 respondents. The data collected are primary data and secondary data. The analytical method used is the analysis of linear regression. Based on the multiple linear analysis in a test based on the level of significance was obtained F count is equal to 5,487 with sig = 0.005. Because sig = 0.000 0.05 indicates that the quality of service simultaneously together or simultaneously have a strong influence (significant) to increase service user satisfaction.

Better understanding of the impacts of new mobility services (NMS) is needed to inform evidence-based policy, but cities and researchers are hindered by a lack of access to detailed system data. Application programming interface (API) services can be a medium for real-time data sharing and access, and have been used for data collection in the past, but the literature lacks a systematic examination of the potential value of publicly available API data for extracting policy-relevant information, specifically supply and demand, on NMS. The objectives of this study are: 1) to catalogue all the publicly available API data streams for NMS in three major cities known as the Cascadia Corridor (Vancouver, British Columbia; Seattle, Washington; and Portland, Oregon); 2) to create, apply, and share web data extraction tools (Python scripts) for each API; and 3) to assess the usefulness of the extracted data in quantifying supply and demand for each service. Results reveal some measures of supply and demand that can be extracted from API data and be useful in future analysis (mostly for bikeshare and carshare services, not ridesourcing). However, important information on supply and demand of most of the NMS in these cities cannot be obtained through API data extraction. Stronger open data policies for mobility services are therefore needed if policymakers want to obtain useful and independent insights on the usage of these services.

In the cloud computing model, users access services according to their requirements. Most of the people use cloud since it has low cost, high speed computing, backup and restore, mobility and unlimited flexible storage capacity. Cloud resources are hosted in large datacentres operated by companies such as Amazon, Apple, Google and Microsoft. During cloud application deployment, an application is managed over a single service. Such an approach has several short comings. One side-effect of the lack of interoperability among cloud providers is vendor lock in, which means lack of ability to migrate application components from one cloud provider to another cloud provider. If a user finds some required platforms in new service provider but the user cannot leave the current provider as the resources are present with them. This is known as vendor lock in. To solve this issue in achieving interoperability several efforts are underway. Our project is that a user who creates a unique channel that can be used to gain the services provided by different providers. So that the user can use another vendor’s service which is not present in present vendor’s cloud. That is user can use multiple clouds having different resources using a single API without depending on their own APIs.

The proposed platform consists of three components:receipt scanner,ReceiptLog DB, andReceiptLog API. The receipt scanner digitizes daily receipts, and the ReceiptLog DB manages the scanned data. The ReceiptLog API provides the receipt log as a service. The API consists of the BasicAPI, which provides fundamental access for the receipt log, whereas the MiningAPI performs a statistical analysis of the receipt log. These APIs are published as Web services, and can used by multiple applications and services for various purposes. We also conduct an experimental evaluation with actual subjects, to confirm the usefulness of services with receipt log.

We create an API (Application Programming Interface) for Indonesian Sign Language (Sistem Isyarat Bahasa Indonesia/SIBI) which is called OpenSIBI. In this case study, we use the Myo Armband device to capture hand gesture data movement. It uses five sensors: Accelerometer, Gyroscope, Orientation, Orientation-Euler, and EMG. First, we record, convert and save those data into JSON dataset in the server as data learning. Then, every data request (trial data) from the client will compare them using k-NN Normalization process. OpenSIBI API works as the middleware which integrated to RabbitMQ as the queue request arranger. Every service request from the client will automatically spread to the server with the queue process. As the media observation, we create a client data request by SIBI Words and Alphabeth Game, which allows the user to answer several stages of puzzle-game with Indonesian Sign Language hand gesture. Game-player must use the Myo armband as an interactive device that reads the hand movement and its fingers for answering the questions given. Thus, the data will be classified and normalized by the k-NN algorithm, which will be processed on the server. In this process, data will pass OpenAPI SIBI (which connected to RabbitMQ) to queue every incoming data-request. So, the obtained data will be processed one by one and sent it back to the client as the answer.

Kereta api Airport Railink Services Kualanamu adalah layanan kereta api yang dioperasikan oleh Railink dengan rute Medan-Bandar Udara Internasional Kualanamu di Sumatra Utara, Indonesia. Kereta api bandara ARS Kualanamu mulai beroperasi pada tanggal 25 Juli 2013 bersamaan dengan beroperasinya Bandar Udara Internasional Kualanamu. Railink merupakan perusahaan patungan antara Kereta Api Indonesia dan Angkasa Pura II (Persero). ARS Kualanamu saat ini memiliki frekuensi 25 kali perjalanan dari Stasiun Medan ke Stasiun Bandara Kualanamu, berkapasitas 308 tempat duduk, dengan lama perjalanan 28-33 menit saat menuju bandara, dan 28-34 menit saat menuju Medan. Kereta api berangkat dan tiba di peron khusus kereta bandara di Stasiun Medan. Kereta api ini menggunakan 4 set rangkaian kereta rel diesel elektrik (KRDE) yang dibuat di pabrikan Korea Selatan, Woojin. Pada mulanya layanan ARS ini menggunakan rangkaian KRD eks-KRD Kaligangsa dari Pulau Jawa, namun setelah kedatangan kereta dari Korea Selatan, maka KRD dari Pulau Jawa tersebut dikembalikan dan saat ini digunakan kembali sebagai KA Prambanan Ekspres, sedangkan sebagian yang masih tersisa digunakan sebagai KA Sri Lelawangsa. Fasilitas yang disediakan dalam kereta api ini adalah fasilitas kenyamanan kereta api eksekutif berupa kereta ber-AC, reclining seat, Wi-Fi, serta layar audio visual.

Background: Accessibility is considered as an important indicator for the public transit service level. Transit accessibility is generally evaluated by its distance to transit access points such as bus stops and metro stations, and methods of measuring the access distances to transit points have been relying heavily on geographic data of transit facilities, built environments and pedestrian routes. Data collecting and analyzing are tedious for researchers in conventional approaches. As the application of cloud computing is on the rise, open services provided by Google Cloud Platform may simplify the procedure of accessibility measurement if the outputs of the open computing services could be validated. Aims and Objectives: This paper aims to develop a method of measuring public transit accessibility based on Google Direction API rather than local data analyzing. A mechanism of API (Application Program Interface) probing is introduced. In a case study, the metropolitan area of Beijing was sliced into gridded spaces, with transit access distance of each cell space calculated by Google Direction API. The access distances in the API feedbacks were compared with transit access numbers in each cell area in order to validate the method with their correlation coefficient. Results and Conclusion: It was found that Google Direction API generally gave shorter access distances in cell areas with more public access points. The conclusion is that open cloud services such as Google Direction API may serve as alternative solutions to public transit accessibility measurement. Transit researchers and agencies may take advantage of such open API services to avoid the tediousness of collecting and processing geographic data sets on transit facilities.

Increasing physical objects connected to the Internet make it possible for smart things to access all kinds of cloud services. Mashup has been an effective way to the rapid IoT (Internet of Things) application development. It remains a big challenge to bridge the semantic gap between user expectations and application functionality with the development of mashup services. This paper proposes a mashup service recommendation approach via merging semantic features from API descriptions and structural features from the mashup-API network. To validate our approach, large-scale experiments are conducted based on a real-world accessible service repository, ProgrammableWeb. The results show the effectiveness of our proposed approach.

Of course, this change is a factor that is the cause. So in this study questioned: how changes in the quality of public services, Factors that support the process of realizing the change in the quality of public services, and how satisfaction of train service users in the City of Tasikmalaya. To answer these questions and get information, qualitative research methods are used with interview techniques, documentation studies, and observations. The conclusion from the study was obtained that changes in the quality of public services that occurred so far PT. Indonesian Railways is indeed influenced by several factors, all of which are internal factors of PT. Indonesian Railways. And these changes prove that changes in the quality of public services have an impact on the level of public satisfaction. With the high level of satisfaction of users of railroad services, of course, this must be maintained by PT. Indonesian Railways. So that PT. Abstract. Today, more and more geospatial services are provided by the governments and enterprises to share various geographic information data and functions, and services-based application integration has become a trend. However, many problems existed in the geo-platform for Geographic information sharing while providing services in the form of API, such as the coexistence of different versions of the same service, similar service routes of different APIs, cluttered service protocols, and complex authority management, that makes the integration among different geographic information services difficult and reduces the development efficiency. There are already some API gateway technologies to solve the problem, but the characteristics of geospatial services are not considered in the existing product. To address these problems, this paper proposed a high-currency geospatial service gateway system for National Geo-Information Service Platform based on the opensource framework of Kong for realizing the unified management and authorized open. The system provides the whole lifecycle management and fine-grained control for the service, and the functions such as unified geospatial service access, protocol conversion, service management, authorization verification, rate limiting, and security protection are also equipped. The system has been released and integrated in the National Geo-Information Service Platform, supporting hundreds of millions of service invocation every day. The result proves it simplifies geospatial services management, deployment, and application, and benefits the exchanging and sharing of geographic information.

Fermilab developed the Frontier Experiments RegistRY (FERRY) service that provides a centralized repository for access control and job management attributes such as batch and storage access policies, quotas, batch priorities and NIS attributes for cluster configuration. This paper describes the FERRY architecture, deployment and integration with services that consume the stored information. The Grid community has developed several access control management services over the last decade. Over time, services for Fermilab experiments have required the collection and management of more access control and quota attributes. At the same time, various services used for this purpose, namely VOMS-Admin, GUMS and VULCAN, are being abandoned by the community. FERRY has multiple goals: maintaining a central repository for currently scattered information related to users' attributes, providing a Restful API that allows uniform data retrieval by services, and providing a replacement service for all the abandoned grid services. FERRY is integrated with the ServiceNow (SNOW) ticketing service and uses it as its user interface. In addition to the standard workflows for request approval and task creation, SNOW invokes orchestration that automates access to FERRY API. Our expectation is that FERRY will drastically improve user experience as well as decrease effort required by service administrators.

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui besaran tarif kereta api penumpang yang berlaku berdasarkan biaya operasional kereta api. Perhitungan biaya operasional kereta api dan tarif kereta api mengacu pada Peraturan Menteri Perhubungan Republik Indonesia Nomor: 69 Tahun 2014 tentang Pedoman Perhitungan dan Penetapan Tarif Angkutan Orang dengan Kereta Api. Data yang digunakan adalah data sekunder berupa pola operasi kereta api, besaran penumpang kereta api, dan komponen biaya operasional kereta api. Dari hasil analisis data di dapatkan Biaya Operasional Kereta Api sebesar Rp63.749.645/lintas, besaran tarif dasar Rp998/penumpang km, dan besaran tarif jarak untuk rute Pontianak-Sanggau sebesar Rp178.764/penumpang.Kata kunci: tarif, kereta api, biaya operasional kereta api ABSTRACTApplicable railway fare is one of the problems faced by the railway service providers. Railway service providers are required to provide facilities and infrastructure and services as well as possible to fit the fare issued by rail passengers. The purpose of this research is to know the amount of railway passengers fare that applies based on rail operational cost. The calculation of rail operational cost and railway fare refers to Regulation of the Minister of Transportation of the Republic of Indonesia Number: 69 of 2014 on Guidelines for Calculating and Stipulating Transit of People by Railway. The data used are secondary data in the form of railway operation pattern, railway passenger size, and rail operational cost component. From the result of data analysis, obtained the railway operational cost Rp63,749,645/cross, the basic cost Rp998/passenger km, and the distance cost for Pontianak-Sanggau route is Rp178,746/passenger.Keywords: fare, train, train operational cost

Formatting and editing documentation can be a tedious process regardless of how well your documentation templates are made. Especially, keeping the code examples up-to-date can be time-consuming and error-prone. The research presented in this article describes a Javadoc extension that can be used to produce example data in combination with automatically generated API method call examples, and explains how the APIs in our implementation are organized to further ease the automatic documentation process. The primary goal is to make generating method call examples for (RESTful) web services easier. The method has been used in the implementation of a media content analysis service, and the experiences, advantages of using the described approach are discussed in this article. The method allows easier validation and maintenance for the documentation of method usage examples with a downside of an increased workload in the implementation of software components required for the automatic documentation process.

This article addresses the problem of modelling Precision Agriculture systems. The authors propose an Agent-based approach for an effective integration of the IoT technology in Agricultural Enterprise systems. The proposed approach is based on Agent Interaction Protocols (AiP) through which they specify complex services of the system by recognizing larger chunks that have a meaning in the application domain. The AiP supports the modelling of composite services as entities whose business logic involves a number of interactions among more elementary service components. The authors present an agent-based system architecture whose main goal is to address interoperability issues between heterogeneous IoT-based services by offering a harmonized API.

PT Kereta Api Indonesia provides services to prospective passengers in the provision of services related to the only railway services in Indonesia. In this study aims to determine the extent of the quality of service that has been given by Klaten Station to train passengers. This research was carried out on trainers. The study was conducted by distributing 25 questionnaires to train passengers at Klaten Station. Then tested the validity and reliability, to determine the suitability of the distributed questionnaire, then measured the level of importance with Service Performance, then carried out the calculation of the Customer Satisfaction Index to determine the level of passenger satisfaction, then make a chart Importance Performance Analysis to determine the level of importance and customer satisfaction. The calculation results from Service Performance obtained the value of the suitability level of 44.45% -77.45%, the value of the Customer Satisfaction Index of 61.60% which is included in the Very Poor's criteria or needs to be improved, the Importance Performance Analysis calculation has the highest priority quality attributes namely the attributes number 6, 7, 12, 20, and 21. With the proposed improvements using the Theory Resheniya Izobreatatelskikh Zadatch, that is, increase the number of seats for prospective passengers and introductory. Adding supporting facilities that do not yet exist in the Klaten Station environment, PT KAI will educate Klaten Station officers to be more disciplined and prioritize the best service to customers.

Abstract Objective Healthcare organizations use research data models supported by projects and tools that interest them, which often means organizations must support the same data in multiple models. The healthcare research ecosystem would benefit if tools and projects could be adopted independently from the underlying data model. Here, we introduce the concept of a reusable application programming interface (API) for healthcare and show that the i2b2 API can be adapted to support diverse patient-centric data models. Materials and Methods We develop methodology for extending i2b2’s pre-existing API to query additional data models, using i2b2’s recent “multi-fact-table querying” feature. Our method involves developing data-model-specific i2b2 ontologies and mapping these to query non-standard table structure. Results We implement this methodology to query OMOP and PCORnet models, which we validate with the i2b2 query tool. We implement the entire PCORnet data model and a five-domain subset of the OMOP model. We also demonstrate that additional, ancillary data model columns can be modeled and queried as i2b2 “modifiers.” Discussion i2b2’s REST API can be used to query multiple healthcare data models, enabling shared tooling to have a choice of backend data stores. This enables separation between data model and software tooling for some of the more popular open analytic data models in healthcare. Conclusion This methodology immediately allows querying OMOP and PCORnet using the i2b2 API. It is released as an open-source set of Docker images, and also on the i2b2 community wiki.

Transportation infrastructure has a significant role towards economic development. Railway infrastructure is expected to give a high contribution in regional development. The study was conducted to understand the role of the railway infrastructure in supporting the regional economy by using Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) as a measurement. By using a dynamic spatial econometric models, it is expected to know how big influence the railway infrastructure on GDP and its effect may differ in national and regional levels. The result of model analysis showed that the addition amount of traffic or route service would raise GDP growth by 0.069%, whereas with the addition of traffic or route service frequency will increase GDP grmuth by 0.005%. Modeling results that positively affect GDP grmuth is the amount of traffic or traffic routes and frequency of services or service routes. Both these variables describe the traffic capacity that has a strong correlation with the availability of rail infrastructure. Through the simulation increases the number of paths, then if the total amount of the current trajectory is increased 1.1 times, it can affect GDP growth up to 0.076% while the frequency of traffic can contribute to GDP growth up to 0.005% and the frequency of cross-influence may continue to increase if the number cross frequency was increased.Keywords: railway infrastructure, regional economy

The issue of discrimination against persons with disabilities in the field of public services, especially in transportation services, is still often heard. This research is focused on knowing the implementation of public services and how to optimize public services for persons with disabilities in Yogyakarta stations and Lempuyangan stations. This research is a normative-empirical study that combines the results of legal research with reality in the field. Field data was collected through observation and interview methods. The study found that accommodating the rights of persons with disabilities to public services at railway stations has several problems: lack of procedural mechanisms related to the implementation of human rights, institutions of persons with disabilities, and the existence of social-political factors of public policymakers who are not aware of the accommodation of human rights for disabled people.[Isu diskriminasi terhadap penyandang disabilitas di bidang pelayanan publik, khususnya dalam pelayanan jasa transportasi, masih sering terdengar. Penelitian ini difokuskan untuk mengetahui penyelenggaraan pelayanan publik dan cara mengoptimalkan pelayanan publik terhadap penyandang disabilitas di stasiun Yogyakarta dan stasiun Lempuyangan. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian normatif-empiris yang memadukan hasil-hasil penelitian hukum dengan kenyataan di lapangan. Data lapangan dikumpulkan dengan metode obersvasi dan wawancara. The platform has two major components - backend API services along with different data publishers and a client web UI module for visualization and operations. The backend API is designed to gather information from different job management systems, cloud vendors, and storage providers and use micro-service architecture. The web UI module is written in Python, JavaScript and has integrated SAML login module for user authentication and authorization. It is capable of visualizing the gathered data in dynamic OLAP style and supports standard export formats like CSV and Excel. Through the accounting platform, it is possible to obtain a full view of the usage patterns of an integrated electronic infrastructure and to see from one point all information about the different resources comprising the hybrid computing and data infrastructure.

The software for the e-procurement system was developed based on .NET Core RESTful API with Open API specifications. The server side uses RESTful API which ensures compatibility with the ma-jority of clients and enables them to exchange information in JSON format. The authentication and authorization flow was implemented using OAuth open standard paired with Microsoft Identity Service. User roles and functionality were handled with a standalone service for authentication and registration that made our system efficient and scalable. Business logic was designed to be split into micro-services accessible through rout-ing controllers. This approach allowed us to separate the responsibilities between the server and the client side. Special authorization headers passed during modi-fication queries allowed us to control and restrict access to particular resources for unauthorized users. The distributed cache mechanism inside the data repository level was used in order to increase the responsiveness of the system. The state handling subsystem was designed utilizing Finite State Machine concepts. The developed system was verified using unit and integration tests.

Network programmability is a key feature of fifth generation (5G) system which, in combination with cloud-based services, can support many use cases, including mission critical and healthcare communications. Programmability enables flexibility in customization of service connectivity. Multi-access Edge Computing (MEC) services and applications are enablers for network programmability. In this paper, MEC capabilities for programmability of multiparty multimedia call control at the network edge are studied. Multiparty video calls are one of the key applications of 5G, and are efficient way to exchange ideas, knowledge, expertise, information, and so on. The paper presents an approach to design MEC Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) which enable third party applications to create multiparty multimedia sessions and dynamically manage session participations. The API functionality is described by required information and message flows. The paper specifies the proposed MEC API with data model. Feasibility study includes modelling and formal validation of multiparty session state models supported by the network and mobile edge application. The latency injected by the API is evaluated by emulation.

The continually expanding distributed global compendium of biomedical knowledge is diffuse, heterogeneous and huge, posing a serious challenge for biomedical researchers in knowledge harvesting: accessing, compiling, integrating and interpreting data, information and knowledge. In order to accelerate research towards effective medical treatments and optimizing health, it is critical that efficient and automated tools for identifying key research concepts and their experimentally discovered interrelationships are developed. As an activity within the feasibility phase of a project called “Translator” (https://ncats.nih.gov/translator) funded by the National Center for Advancing Translational Sciences (NCATS) to develop a biomedical science knowledge management platform, we designed a Representational State Transfer (REST) web services Application Programming Interface (API) specification, which we call a Knowledge Beacon. Knowledge Beacons provide a standardized basic API for the discovery of concepts, their relationships and associated supporting evidence from distributed online repositories of biomedical knowledge. This specification also enforces the annotation of knowledge concepts and statements to the NCATS endorsed the Biolink Model data model and semantic encoding standards (https://biolink.github.io/biolink-model/). Implementation of this API on top of diverse knowledge sources potentially enables their uniform integration behind client software which will facilitate research access and integration of biomedical knowledge. This study examines the purchase of nonaudit services by SEC audit clients. Effective February 5, 2001, the SEC has required the disclosure and description of audit, nonaudit, and information technology fees paid to the incumbent auditor. The SEC enacted this rule due to concerns about auditor independence. Our study reviews these disclosed fees contained in the proxy statements of 2,795 firms since the effective date of the new SEC disclosure rules. The results indicate that the actual incidence and magnitude of nonaudit fees is much greater than the information relied upon during the SEC rule-making deliberations. Consequently, our study calls into question the data used during SEC rule-making process, as well as the clarity of the current audit and nonaudit service distinctions. Our results also suggest that the nonaudit service landscape has changed dramatically since the last period of publicly available fee data (1978–1981). Our results provide at least two public policy implications. First, the SEC should maintain, at a minimum, the current disclosure environment. Second, the SEC should strive to improve the clarity and granularity of the disclosures. Our results also indicate a clear need for additional research regarding the provision of nonaudit services.

Tetapi, sering sekali para juru parkir meminta lebih dari tarif yang sudah ditetapkan. Hal tersebut merugikan pengguna parkir, selain harus membayar lebih, pengguna parkir sering tidak mendapatkan karcis parkir. Belum lagi pengelolaan retribusi parkir yang tidak transparan menjadi salah satu penyebab rendahnya penerimaan retribusi parkir. Permasalahan ini dapat diminimalkan dengan menerapkan teknologi RESTful web services pada sistem pembayaran retribusi parkir yang terintegrasi dan transparan sehingga diharapkan mampu menjadi alternatif solusi mengatasi masalah pengelolaan retribusi parkir yang dialami oleh Pemkot maupun Pemda di Indonesia. Metode pengembangan sistem yang digunakan yaitu Extreme Programming (XP) dengan tahap : planning (perencanaan), design (perancangan), coding (pengkodean) dan testing (pengujian). Hasil aplikasi berbasis Android yaitu Markir sebagai sarana utama mengirimkan data pembayaran parkir dan OAuth 2.0 sebagai protokol otorisasi setiap transaksi data yang dilakukan. Hasil pengujian aplikasi Markir dengan metode black-box testing, sistem telah terintegrasi dengan baik dan dilakukan berbagai tahap validasi seperti client credentials, access token dan scope akses fungsi yang tersedia pada API Markir sesuai standar protokol OAuth 2.0 sehingga transaksi data lebih aman jika dibandingkan menggunakan otorisasi API standar seperti basic-auth API ataupun API Key.

This application is designed using the RESTful API which is one of the implementation models of the web service and. In terms of data exchange security using the Json Web Token. With this sales order application, it can simplify the sales person's performance in marketing their products. This application work runs well on the web and android device so the process of ordering products becomes easier. The use or json web token authentification on the RESTful API makes the application more secure because this application can not be accessed if it does not use tokens.

With the fast deployment of cloud computing, MapReduce architectures are becoming the major technologies for mobile cloud computing. The concept of MapReduce was first introduced as a novel programming model and implementation for a large set of computing devices. In this research, we propose a novel concept of REST-MapReduce, enabling users to use only the REST interface without using the MapReduce architecture. This approach provides a higher level of abstraction by integration of the two types of access interface, REST API and MapReduce. The motivation of this research stems from the slower response time for accessing simple RDBMS on Hadoop than direct access to RDMBS. This is because there is overhead to job scheduling, initiating, starting, tracking, and management during MapReduce-based parallel execution. Therefore, we provide a good performance for REST Open API service and for MapReduce, respectively. This is very useful for constructing REST Open API services on Hadoop hosting services, for example, Amazon AWS (Macdonald, 2005) or IBM Smart Cloud. For evaluating performance of our REST-MapReduce framework, we conducted experiments with Jersey REST web server and Hadoop. Experimental result shows that our approach outperforms conventional approaches.

At present, accessing and processing Earth Observation (EO) data on different cloud platforms requires users to exercise distinct communication strategies as each backend platform is designed differently. The openEO API (Application Programming Interface) standardises EO-related contracts between local clients (R, Python, and JavaScript) and cloud service providers regarding data access and processing, simplifying their direct comparability. Independent of the providers’ data storage system, the API mimics the functionalities of a virtual EO raster data cube. This article introduces the communication strategy and aspects of the data cube model applied by the openEO API. Two test cases show the potential and current limitations of processing similar workflows on different cloud platforms and a comparison of the result of a locally running workflow and its openEO-dependent cloud equivalent. The outcomes demonstrate the flexibility of the openEO API in enabling complex scientific analysis of EO data collections on cloud platforms in a homogenised way.

An analysis of the testimony given before the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) on auditors' independence requirements indicates that users of financial statements generally favored increased restrictions on the scope of nonaudit services provided by external auditors to their audit clients, while corporate management and public accounting (professional service) firms providing nonaudit services did not. Moreover, users of the financial statements generally favored the more extensive ban on nonaudit services over the SEC's proposed list of proscriptions. The principle of user primacy, a principle that has been espoused by regulatory and accounting standard-setting bodies, holds that the interests of the users of financial reports take precedence over the interests of the report preparers. However, the SEC's final ruling on auditor independence requirements was more closely aligned with the position taken by the preparers. An analysis of the arguments presented in the transcripts and the regulations promulgated suggests that positive accounting theory predicated on instrumental economic and political power better explains the SEC's behavior than do considerations relative to the public interest reflected in the principle of user primacy. Positive accounting theory provides the theoretical model for the empirical research supporting nonregulation of nonaudit services and represents a theoretical model that explains the actions of the SEC as reflected in the final ruling on auditor independence requirements. Further, while positive accounting theory represents the underlying dogma upon which rhetorical arguments against increased regulation are grounded, the arguments themselves are framed and justified using the rhetoric of user primacy, which suggests either a nai¨ve belief in the ultimate generalized good of the neoclassical assumption of instrumental, self-interested behavior (ethical egoism), or a juxtaposition of incompatible theoretical frameworks. The discussion and analysis suggests, and subsequent events seem to confirm, the incompatibility of the two perspectives and, thus, the inability of positive accounting theory-based arguments to provide adequate grounds for acting in the public interest. The principle of user primacy affords legitimate grounds for evaluating regulatory alternatives and should provide the theoretical and empirical basis upon which to evaluate regulatory proposals.

The Internet of Things (IoT) allows different devices with internet protocol (IP) address to be connected together via the internet to collect, provide, store, and exchange data amongst themselves. The distributed denial of service (DDoS) attack is one of the inevitable challenges which should be addressed in the development of the IoT. A DDoS attack has the potential to render a victim's services unavailable, which can then lead to additional challenges such as website outage, financial loss, reputational damage and loss of confidential information. In this article, a framework of the SDN controller via an application programming interface (API) is compared to an existing framework. SDN provides a new architecture that can detect and mitigate a DDoS attack so that it makes the networking functionalities programmable via the API and also it centralizes the control management of the IoT devices. Experimental results show the capability of the SDN framework to analyze a real-time traffic of the SDN controller via the API by setting a control bandwidth usage threshold using the API.

Numerous new cloud service providers have been introduced to the market with unique features that assist service developers collaborate and migrate services among multiple cloud service providers to address the varying requirements of cloud consumers. Many interfaces and proprietary application programming interfaces (API) are available for migration and collaboration services among cloud providers, but lack standardization efforts. The target of the research work was to summarize the issues involved in semantic cloud portability and interoperability in the multi-cloud environment and define the standardization effort imminently needed for migrating and collaborating services in the multi-cloud environment.

Abstract : Google Apps is a service provided by Google that allows users to use Google products with their own domain names. Among the products offered by Google Apps are email (Gmail), Docs (Google Drive), and Classroom services. In addition, Google Apps also provides Application Programming Interface (API) services that can be used by developers to take advantage of various features provided by Google. Universitas Ubudiyah Indonesia (UUI) is one of the universities that use Google Apps service for managing student emails. At present, UUI student email management through Google Apps is still not integrated with academic information system data. As a result, UUI must allocate special resources for managing student emails manually. Based on these problems, this study proposes an integration system for UUI student email management using the Google Apps API. This system is designed using PHP programming. The Google Apps API authentication method uses OAuth 2.0. The results of this study indicate that student email management on Google Apps can be done through campus academic information systems. With this system, students can activate email independently without having to be registered manually to the Google Apps page by the campus email managers.Abstrak : Google Apps adalah sebuah layanan yang disediakan oleh Google yang memungkinkan pengguna dapat menggunakan produk google dengan nama domain sendiri. Di antaranya produk yang disediakan Google Apps yaitu layanan email (Gmail), dokumen (Google Drive), dan Classroom. Selain itu, Google Apps juga menyediakan layanan Application Programming Interface (API) yang dapat dimanfaatkan oleh pengembang untuk memanfaatkan berbagai layanan yang disediakan oleh Google. Universitas Ubudiyah Indonesia (UUI) merupakan salah satu universitas yang menggunakan layanan Google Apps untuk pengelolaan email mahasiswa. Saat ini pengelolaan email mahasiswa UUI melalui Google Apps masih belum terintegrasi dengan data sistem informasi akademik. Akibatnya UUI harus mengalokasikan sumber daya khusus untuk mengelola email mahasiswa secara manual. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut penelitian ini mengusulkan sistem integrasi pengelolaan email mahasiswa UUI menggunakan API Google Apps. Sistem ini dirancang menggunakan pemograman PHP. Metode autentikasi API Google Apps menggunakan OAuth 2.0. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan pengelolaan email mahasiswa pada Google Apps dapat dilakukan melalui sistem informasi akademik kampus. Dengan adanya sistem ini mahasiswa dapat melakukan aktivasi email secara mandiri tanpa harus didaftarkan secara manual ke halaman Google Apps oleh pengelola email kampus.

The Microservices architectural design is widely used today which helps one to build an application as a set of services that can be developed and deployed independently. Each service is independent and gives a set of functions or features that can be individually serviced. In spite of the fact that microservices design has been advanced as the fix just for all cutting-edge application development ailments and is viewed as the replacement for API first application advancement, its execution needs undeniably more idea and practicality. In order for these independent services to work together towards a common goal, we need something that will stitch them together because they cannot work in complete isolation and need to share data and interact with one another. There are two ways to do this – microservice choreography and microservice orchestration. This paper tries to explain the difference between choreography and orchestration of microservices, and why the latter is better. We will then discuss the orchestration of microservices using an open-sourced microservices orchestrator – Conductor.

The development of tourism activities on the island of Lombok has caused many types of professions to be occupied or utilized by the community, especially those who are services. With the technological advancements, people need various kinds of facilities in carrying out their businesses and activities. One of them is in looking for artisan services including price or service fees, material prices and so on. Multiplatform applications (more than one platform) can make it easy for users to choose the platform to be used. With web service architecture as a computational entity that can be accessed through the internet and intranet networks and certain protocol standards in the platform and interface of an independent programming language. In conducting research, the system development method used by the author is the waterfall method. Waterfall method is a systematic and sequential method of software development that starts at the level and progress of the system up to the analysis, design, code (implementation), test (testing), and maintenance. The application that was built has been tested to several builders. As well as from the results of testing the artisan respondents have a very agreeable answer of 51.4%, because 51.4% is the highest result in the response to the response of the answer, it can be concluded that the application has met the needs of the mason

The paper presents the performance analysis of the developed software as a service. In OpenStack cloud infrastructure, the software services for hemodynamic flow modelling and particle technology applications have been developed by using Apache jclouds API. The performance of the hosted cloud infrastructure has been assessed testing virtual memory, CPU, disk IO, network and the developed software services. The measured performance of the virtual OpenStack resources (full XEN virtualization) has been compared with that of the virtual Eucalyptus resources (KVM paravirtualization) and the native hardware.

Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) to maximize efforts in innovation services, one of which implementation is the existence of Bogor Station, This study uses a quantitative approach, according to the basic assumptions axiology quantitative approach seeks explanation of the relationship between the variables studied, while the research method used is descriptive analysis, which aims to explain or describe further the pattern of correlation, the relationship between two or more variables studied, technique of analysis by analyzing the performance of services with Servqual Service, methods of science and CSI and utility station facilities in terms of user services based on standards Minimum service station where respondents are users of services in Bogor Station. Based on the analysis we can conclude CSI scores of this study is 62%, which indicates the overall service of Bogor Station are included in the category quite satisfied and there are five attributes that a top priority for immediate improved performance, among others, the availability of the number of toilets, availability and comfort of the lounge (waiting room) passengers, cleanliness and comfort toilet, comfort and ease up/down passenger (Peron) and the availability of information and the announcement of train travel. Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) untuk memaksimalkan upaya dalam inovasi pelayanannya, dimana salah satunya implementasinya adalah dengan keberadaan Stasiun Bogor, Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif, menurut asumsi dasar aksiologi pendekatan kuantitatif berusaha mencari penjelasan hubungan antara variabel-variabel yang diteliti, sedangkan metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif, yang bertujuan untuk menjelaskan atau mendiskripsikan lebih jauh pola hubungan korelasi, keterkaitan antara dua atau lebih variabel yang diteliti, teknik analisis dengan menganalisa kinerja pelayanan dengan Servqual Service, metode IPA lalu CSI dan utilitas fasilitas stasiun ditinjau dari pengguna jasa berdasarkan Standar Pelayanan Minimum Stasiun dimana respondennya yaitu pengguna jasa di Stasiun Bogor. Berdasarkan hasil analisa tersebut dapat disimpulkan nilai CSI dari penelitian ini yaitu 62 % yang mengindikasikan secara keseluruhan pelayanan Stasiun Bogor termasuk dalam kategori cukup puas dan terdapat 5 atribut yang menjadi prioritas utama untuk segera ditingkatkan kinerjanya antara lain, ketersediaan jumlah toilet, ketersediaan dan kenyamanan ruang tunggu (waiting room) penumpang, kebersihan dan kenyamanan toilet, kenyamanan dan kemudahan naik/turun penumpang (Peron) dan ketersediaan informasi dan pengumuman perjalanan kereta api. This study departs from the phenomena associated with passenger dissatisfaction with Sibinuang train services. This research is a type of causative. Causative research aims to analyze the relationship between one variable with another variable or how a variable affects other variables. In this case the effect of price and service on the satisfaction of the passengers of the Sibinuang Train PT. Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) Regional Division II West Sumatera. The population in this study are people who have used the Sibinuang train service majoring in Padang-Pariaman, PT. Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) Regional Division II West Sumatera. The data used are primary data obtained through observation, interviews, questionnaires or questionnaires distributed at several stations / shelters that are passed by the train and secondary data obtained from the company. The sampling technique used in this study is a non-probability sampling method with accidental sampling technique .. The analytical method used is multiple regression analysis using SPSS version 21. For hypothesis testing using the F test and the statistical test t with a level of α = 0.05 . The results of this study indicate that 1) the price does not significantly influence the satisfaction of Sibinuang Train passengers PT. Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) Regional Division II West Sumatera. 2) Service has a significant effect on the satisfaction of Sibinuang Railroad passengers of PT. Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) Regional Division II West Sumatera.Keywords: price, service, and passenger satisfaction.

Existing Web API search engines allow only category-based browsing and keyword- or tag-based searches for RESTful services. In other words, they do not enable the discovery or composition of real-world RESTful services by application developers. This paper outlines a novel scheme, called Transformation–Annotation–Discovery (TAD), which transforms OpenAPI (Swagger) documents related to RESTful services into a graph structure and then automatically annotates the semantic concepts on graph nodes using Latent Dirichlet Allocation (LDA) and WordNet. TAD can then be used for service composition based on the user requirements specified in two modules: a service discovery chain and logical-operation-based composition. The service discovery chain uses the Hungarian algorithm to assess service interface compatibility in order to facilitate the retrieval of services capable of bridging the gap between specified user requirements and the discovered services. The logical-operation-based composition module identifies services that semantically fit the user requirements, based on the structure of the service flow. Those candidate services are then sent to service discovery chains to enable the simultaneous search for potential composition solutions. System prototype and experiment results demonstrate the feasibility and efficacy of the proposed scheme.

Cloud application platforms gain popularity and have the potential to alter the way service-based cloud applications are developed involving utilisation of platform basic services. A platform basic service provides certain functionality and is usually offered via a web API. However, the diversification of the services and the available providers increase the challenge for the application developers to integrate them and deal with the heterogeneous providers' web APIs. Therefore, a new approach of developing applications should be adopted in which developers leverage multiple platform basic services independently from the target application platforms. To this end, the authors present a development framework assisting the design of service-based cloud applications. The objective of the framework is to enable the consistent integration of the services, and to allow the seamless use of the concrete providers. The optimal service provider each time can vary depending on criteria such as pricing, quality of service and can be determined based upon Big Data analysis approaches.
