Der volle Inhalt der QuelleEfficient organizations need to ensure that their business processes are flexible so that these processes can easily accommodate changes in regulations and policies. Appropriate techniques to model and verify these processes are required. In this manuscript, we present a rule-based model, called ECAPE-M, that aims at improving the management of business processes in terms of flexibility and verification. This model extends the Event-Condition-Action (ECA) model and suggests formal tools for verification purposes. In this approach, the logic of a process is defined with a set of business rules that correspond to the policies in the organization. Each business rule is represented using the Event-Condition-Action-Post-condition-post-Event (ECAPE) formalisms. The representation of our rule-based approach requires a new declarative language that will offer the necessary syntax and semantics to describe ECAPE rules and the core elements in a business process. These elements are participants, variables, and activities. For this reason, we propose a new the rule-based business process definition language called ECAPE-L, which has an XML-based syntax to describe business processes in declarative way. An advantage of the ECAPE-M is that a process can be easily translated into a graph of rules. This graph is used to first, look into the changes of rules by checking the relationships between the rules and second, estimate cost changes in a process. Another advantage of the ECAPE-M is the translation of a process into a new colored Petri net called ECAPE net. An ECAPE net is used to check if a process satisfies some properties such as no Deadlock, and no Livelock. Finally, we proposed the BP-FAMA as an integration environment of the different elements we proposed. This environment consists of different tools namely:Business Rules Definer; Business Rules behavior analyzer and Business Rules simulator

Der volle Inhalt der QuelleNowadays, the use of business process management techniques within companies allows a significant improvement in the efficiency of the operational systems. These techniques assist business experts in modelling business processes, implementation, analytics, and enhancements. The execution context of a business process contains information to identify and understand the interactions between itself and other processes. The first process is triggered following a customer need (operational process) and the others, following the need of the operationnal process (support processes). The satisfaction of a customer need depends on an effective interaction between an operational process and the related support processes. These interactions are defined through operational data, manipulated by the operational process, and support data, manipulated by the support processes. Our work is based on the framework of Model Driven Engineering. The approach proposed in this thesis is based on the annotation of operational or support process models. This annotation is performed with the help of an ontology defining the business domain described by these processes. These annotations are then exploited to constitute a set of data, called contextual data. The analysis of the traces of the execution of the operational process and of these contextual data makes it possible to select the best sub set of contextual data, in the business sense. Thus, an operational process can be associated with a set of support processes via the contextual data

Der volle Inhalt der QuelleBusiness processes undergo standardization. This standardization is achieved through domination, confrontation and incorporation, means that have their origins in methods like Taylorism, reengineering or the implementation of tools such as ERP systems. Prescription and standardization of business processes, however, create problems for organizations, at the strategic, functional and operating levels. Our research attempts to uncover on one hand novel ways of standardizing processes and on the other the conditions facilitating the emergence of these new ways.Convinced that change cannot be defined any more as the imposition of an a priori model or a promulgated standard, we investigate how work practices may contribute to the creation of standards, and result in “practiced” standards. To find solutions to the problems met with current ways of standardizing, we propose a model, which places practice at the heart of a spiral of creation of organizational knowledge. Through an action research project, we analyze the effects of the implementation of this model in two different settings, namely a public banking institute and a conglomerate of national press, requiring different conditions for change. Our findings, which differ considerably from one case to the other, highlight how the “practiced” standard emerges as a novel way of standardizing. First, we notice that the “practiced” standard feeds on the promulgated standard to anchor business processes in the whole organization. Second, the emergence and the development of the “practiced” standard bring to light specific processes that operate in the organization, namely a process of sensemaking, the support of a structure of power parallel to the official one, and a process of organizational innovation

Der volle Inhalt der QuelleBusiness Process Management (BPM) involves continuous improvement through stages such as design, modeling, execution, monitoring, optimization, and automation. A key aspect of BPM is Business Process (BP) mining, which analyzes event logs to identify process inefficiencies and deviations, focusing on process prediction and conformance checking. This thesis explores the challenges of BP mining within email-driven processes, which are essential for streamlining operations and maximizing productivity.Conformance checking ensures that actual process execution aligns with predicted models, maintaining adherence to predefined standards. Process prediction forecasts future behavior based on historical data, aiding in resource optimization and workload management. Applying these techniques to email-driven processes presents unique challenges, as these processes lack the formal models found in traditional BPM systems and thus require tailored methodologies. The unique structure of email-derived event logs, featuring attributes such as interlocutor speech acts and relevant business data, complicates the application of standard BP mining methods. Integrating these attributes into existing business process techniques and email systems demands advanced algorithms and substantial customization, further complicated by the dynamic context of email communications. To address these challenges, this thesis aims to implement multi-perspective conformance checking and develop a process-activity-aware email response recommendation system. This involves creating a process model based on sequential and contextual constraints specified by a data analyst/expert, developing algorithms to identify fulfilling and violating events, leveraging event logs to predict BP knowledge, and recommending email response templates. The guiding principles include context sensitivity, interdisciplinarity, consistency, automation, and integration. The contributions of this research include a comprehensive framework for analyzing email-driven processes, combining process prediction and conformance checking to enhance email communication by suggesting appropriate response templates and evaluating emails for conformance before sending. Validation is achieved through real email datasets, providing a practical basis for comparison and future research

Der volle Inhalt der QuelleThe aim of this research was to analyse the féminization and professional equality processes in jobs seen as male. At the end of an introductory chapter introducing the context of women’s work in France through a short historical review, the literature outlines the issues affecting women in trades and analyzes the variables that represent a job as masculine or feminine. It clarifies the sociological, legislative and organisational contexts that help promote women’s employment and develop gender diversity and professional equality, in industrial sectors known as “male”. It also shows the central role of the Human Resource function in piloting and implementing these processes. The research questions and theoretical frameworks are exposed. The empirical part confronts our research questions with field studies. It is based on an analysis of a main case and an additional case, using a qualitative methodology. This qualitative approach is completed in the main case study, by a quantitative analysis, both conducted with key leaders of the company and a sample of employees. The main results show that the implementation of gender diversity and professional equality processes in these sectors requires strong managerial commitment and involvement of all employees, associated with ongoing training and information. Resistance should not be overlooked, but important contributions appear not only regarding the perception of social performance, but also in the organizational capacity to understand and control managerial changes leading to a better overall performance of the organization. It also appears that implementing gender diversity is the first step leading to transferability to other dimensions of diversity, such as disability or ethnic diversity

Der volle Inhalt der QuelleMost companies evolve in competitive markets by quickly adapting their business processes. Their performance depends on their capability to adopt continuous improvement techniques for their organization through the development of durable Information Systems (IS) for automating the processes. In this sense, Service-Oriented Architectures (SOA) enable the development of flexible IS with a predominant architectural paradigm of service compositions. However, aligning the SOA to the business processes evolutions remains an overriding concern. In this thesis, we study business process management and evolution from their design until their automation in SOA and their adaptation. We propose a model-driven engineering approach which is integrated to a tool for business process modeling and SOA development. It begins with the design of a model with Business Process Modeling Notation (BPMN) describing process interactions. With an automated transformation chain, we produce a model with Service-Component Architecture (SCA) describing service compositions solution based on a SOA. This ensures the architectural traceability between the business level of the IS and its technical level, since generated services describe an application logic that implements the BPMN model. Then, we introduce an incremental change propagation method between business process and SOA founded on BPMN and SCA models synchronization. It is integrated to a change impact simulation and analysis tool that is based on graph rewriting technique to avoid the inconsistencies caused by change propagation. Finally, we propose metrics for measuring the impact of business process evolutions on SOA maintenance and ensuring better change governance

Der volle Inhalt der QuelleThe availability of middleware platforms in the cloud, with "transparent" scalability, is a progress for software developers and integrators. They can develop and deploy their applications without worrying about technical details. However, the exploitation cost of a cloud infrastructure can quickly become important. Providers requires methods to reduce this cost by adapting the size of ressources to the needs of the customers. In this thesis, we focus on multi-tenant transactional web applications, more precisely on business processes execution engines. We propose methods allowing to optimize the operational costs of providers of business process execution "as a Service" (BPMaaS) while ensuring a sufficient level of quality of service. This type of application do not scale well because of its persistence tier and of the transactional nature of operations. One must distribute the customers installations in order to optimize the cost, and sometimes move them depending of the needs of the customers. These moves (or migrations) have an impact on the quality of service and they must be limited. First, we propose a method for measuring the size of resources in terms of BPM tasks throughput, and then a method for measuring the impact of migrations we evaluate, thus confirming our hypothesis. We also propose several linear optimization models and heuristics targeting resouce allocation and distribution of customers, while limiting the number of migrations. These models are based on the knowledge of the needs of customers per time slot. We have experimented our three methods on the BPM solution Bonita, and demonstrated that they provide substantial savings on the infrastructure exploitation compared to a basic method

Der volle Inhalt der QuelleIn recent years the problems related to modeling and improving business processes have been of growing interest. Indeed, companies are realizing the undeniable impact of a better understanding and management of business processes (BP) on the effectiveness, consistency, and transparency of their business operations. BP modeling aims at a better understanding of processes, allowing deciders to achieve strategic goals of the company. However, inexperienced systems analysts often lack domain knowledge leading and this affects the quality of models they produce. Our approach targets the problem related to business process modeling quality by proposing an approach encompassing methods and tools for business process (BP) models quality measurement and improvement. We propose to support this modeling effort with an approach that uses domain knowledge to improve the semantic quality of BP models. The main contribution of this thesis is fourfold:1. Exploiting the IS domain knowledge: A business process metamodel is identified.Semantics are added to the metamodel by the mean of OCL constraints.2. Exploiting the application domain knowledge. It relies on domain ontologies. Alignment between the concepts of both metamodels is defined and illustrated.3. Designing of the guided quality process encompassing methods and techniques to evaluate and improve the business process models. Our process propose many quality constraints and metrics in order to evaluat the quality of the models and finally the process propose relevant recommendations for improvement.4. Development of a software prototype “BPM-Quality”. Our prototype implements all theabove mentioned artifacts and proposes a workflow enabling its users to evaluate andimprove CMs efficiently and effectively. We conducted a survey to validate the selection of the quality constraints through a first experience and also conducted a second experiment to evaluate the efficacy and efficiency of our overall approach and proposed improvements

Thus, attracting individuals and lead them to raise the choice of those professions is at the core of this issues that concern companies and professional branch. They regularly raise the question about the image of these professions. In this sense, many studies in social sciences investigated the process of vocational choice by placing profession image at the heart of this approach without exploring it. Therefore, understanding profession image and how it is processed in peoples’ mind presents some interest from an academic and managerial point of views

Der volle Inhalt der QuelleContinuous business environment changes urge companies to adapt their processes from a business environment point of view. Indeed, companies struggle to find a balance between adapting their processes and keeping competitiveness. While the imperative nature of business processes is too rigid to adapt them at run-time, the declarative one of the purely rule based business processes is, however, very time consuming. Hybrid approaches in turn try to reconcile between these approaches aiming to reach the market requirements. Nevertheless, they also need an effort for aligning business logic and process logic. Therefore, in this thesis, we focus on business environment-aware management of service-based business processes aiming at conciliating imperative and declarative approaches. Our challenge is to develop a hybrid management approach that preserves industry standards to describe and to manage SBPs as well as minimizes designers’ efforts. Based on a semantic modeling of business environment, business processes as well as their relationships, and a control dependency analysis of business processes, we are able to synthesize a controller, itself modeled as a process, connected to the business process to be monitored and configured at run-time. We also validated the feasibility of our management approach by implementing the framework Business Environment-Aware Management for Service-based Business processes (BEAM4SBP). Experimentations show the efficiency of our approach with respect to other BEAM approaches

Der volle Inhalt der QuelleInformation Systems (IS) with the same business domain manage similar concepts. These concepts can be analyzed and generalized in abstractions reused in new developments. Such abstractions are called Business Components (BC). However, it is often difficult to express criteria of reuse, particularly how to identify, specify, organize and largely automate the reuse of the BC. The contributions of this thesis address this issue and focus on three main results. The first contribution concerns a process BC model called “PBC”. This model focuses on the functional properties of components. Emphasis is placed on the completeness and the variability of the solution expressed in the form of four complementary views incorporating variation points. Variability integration has led to an UML profile that can be used to model reusable and flexible processes. The second contribution proposes a specification process of a PBC according to the proposed model. In this process, we propose a set of rules for construction, translation and consistency to ensure the traceability of artifacts produced throughout the cycle of development. The third contribution is related to a set of guidelines to assist the IS engineer at the PBC reuse. Emphasis is placed on the proposal of the documentation and the classification of PBC validated in a component storage environment. We also propose an imitation process incorporated into the Symphony method to take advantage of the specification of a PBC in the design of an IS. All proposals are accompanied by tools and experiments used as supports of validation and implementation of the achieved works

Der volle Inhalt der QuelleThis thesis work is a part of the project CAS (CIMOSA Application Server) which consists in setting up an information system (I. S. ) useful for enterprise systems and applications design. The core of this I. S. Is a common referential for a chain of enterprises. Indeed, the work thesis was focusing on designing such referential, which allows to model enterprise systems through their business processes. This must be fulfilled by respecting the common objectives of the chain. Thus, the resulting models are capitalized in a systems repository of each enterprise, where they are shared to develop business process applications. The referential offers a methodology of modeling which is integrated in a meta-model based on CIMOSA approach. The physical implementation of this meta-model was realized by "autonomous" and reusable components, which we called: "Enterprise Modeling Components" (E. M. C. ). The design of the meta-model and the components is formalized by the Unified Modeling Language (U. M. L. ) to facilitate subsequent improvements and computing development. To validate the approach, a software prototype of a framework has been developed while referring to the E. M. C. Components. The framework objectives are automating the enterprise systems modeling. The models capitalization ensured by the module S. I. R. S. (Système Interactif de Recherche de Séquences "Interactive System for Sequences Search") existent in the Laboratory. The prototype has been developed with Visual BASIC language in object-oriented programming

Der volle Inhalt der QuelleIn the modern economy, creating agile business processes is one of the conditions to obtain/ maintain competitive advantage on the market. Efficient organizations need to ensure that their business processes are flexible so that these processes can easily accommodate changes in regulations and policies. Actually, the management of business processes is supported by the BPM (Business Process Management) approach. It addresses the management, transformation and improvement of organizational operations. Yet, actual BPM does not feature the means to have a continuous adaptation of their business processes and quick adjustment of their models and resources allocation to meet changing environmental conditions. In this thesis, we aim to support the agility of business processes to ensure a continuous adaptation to changes. The agility of business processes, combined with the agility of employees and that of information technology are prerequisites for achieving business agility. To support agility at IT level, we use the SOA (Service Oriented Architecture) approach. Indeed, the SOA can provide numerous benefits to the organization, enabling it to reduce complexity and increase flexibility through their reutilization and modularity features. Moreover, resources which are important assets in successful process’s implementation are widely supported with agile organization regarded as primordial factor for successful agility implementation. For this reason, we propose an approach that combines management of processes with the required skills to their execution and to better enhance the process flexibility we combine BPM with SOA in a social environment

It aims at examining the job of French CPE from many various angles and approaches, as well as qualitative and quantitative methods so as to better encompass the gendered dimension of this job. In its inception in 1970, this occupation used to be a male stronghold, but it has undergone a growing process of feminization since 72% of CPE today are women. Our analysis must account for the mechanisms underlying such a significant increase. The in-depth analysis of the selection committee’s recent reports sheds new light on the recruitment process of the future CPE and gives a clear picture of the ideal candidate and of what is expected from the institution. The analysis of socio-historical background and origin of the job will help trace back the evolution of the job’s required skills, with a particular focus on the forebear of the CPE (the ‘Surveillant Général’, a stern Dean of Discipline) and chart the evolution of the professional role from a former more authoritative nature to a more educational one. The job has over the years grown in scope and the CPE have been assigned a greater number of tasks and missions that they’ve been endowed with an image of all-purpose, multi-skilled employees. While authority has traditionally been seen as male, and care as more female, the fact that every CPE should have at their disposal such a wide range of skills, because they’re required by their work environment and because most of the time they’re the only ones in the school to tackle such tasks, it makes a purely gendered analysis much more difficult and invites a broader approach of the (de-)gendering of professional activities

Der volle Inhalt der QuelleBusiness Processes (BP) can be seen as a collection of activities executed and coordinated in order to produce a specific result and to meet the needs of a customer (internal and/or external). Business process management (BPM) is a very active research area, its objective is to provide a comprehensive and insightful analysis of the product flow and to identify inefficiencies and potential improvement areas in the process to achieve better decision making and results. Although we can find several Business Process Improvement (BPI) methods in the literature, organizations are still facing some difficulties to apply these methods effectively. These difficulties can be justified by the fact that the existing BPI methods do not fi twith all the recent requirements of the organizations and the progress that the world has achieved, in the past few years, in several domains such as Artificial Intelligence, Data Analytics techniques, Machine Learning, Process Mining, and Event (Stream) Processing, etc. Besides, with this new digitized era and the rise of several new technologies such as Big Data, Internet of things, Cloud computing, etc, organizations are faced with many factors and challenges that generate real changes in the traditional BPM. Among these challenges, we have the huge amount of data and event data that are continuously gathered within the organization. These data represent a real engine of growth for organizations, and must be adequately exploited to extract high added value that can assist the organization in its decision making process. Furthermore, enterprises are looking for advanced technologies that optimize time and resources and increase agility, productivity and most importantly, proactivity. However, traditional BPM systems present different limits, as they do not facilitate the use of knowledge extracted from this data, by business processes, because they do not benefit from statistical functionalities and data analysis and manipulation techniques in real time. The interdisciplinary nature of BPM is a key factor that fosters opportunities for improvement in this domain. The objective of this thesis work is to propose new approaches for augmenting business processes, by relying mainly on data analysis, machine learning algorithms, and complex event processing, to exploit the data generated by business process execution (event data, event logs) and find ways to improve these processes from different perspectives such as instances scheduling and event management in an IoT environment

Der volle Inhalt der QuelleMaintenance can be highly implied in a product lifecycle cost. In order to take it into account as soon as possible in the design process, we seek principles and methods that are simple and easy to use. To achieve this, we carried out a design experiment, during which four actors designed a mechanical product prone to maintenance. This experiment was filmed and recorded. Maintenance problems, related to the main maintenance tasks, were identified and followed throughout the experiment. We analysed the modules implied in maintenance, the functions concerned, and the transformation of these functions into structure. The design acts allowed us to define a typology of the maintenance problems. Taking this typology into consideration, the preceding analyses were then lead again. These analyses show us that the functions mainly implied are associated with the most severe external elements. These analyses also show a succession of phases during which functional constraints are integrated, and other phases during which structural constraints are integrated. The concepts determination is a crucial period for the maintenance integration, a great number of maintenance constraints being then taken into account. That expresses a transition from a phase during which maintenance is understood, towards a phase during which maintenance solutions are produced and evaluated. The life cycle of maintenance problems was then modelled. This descriptive model includes the different states of the maintenance problems, and the transitions between these states. A method for the maintenance integration and a tool based on these maintenance problems were then proposed

Der volle Inhalt der QuelleSince its beginnings, social work is organized and based on contradictory and inseparable foundations which cater various and antagonistic interests. In the specific context of educational assistance (AEMO), we are interested in the writing process, especially when educators have to provide their mediation end report to the juvenile judge. What do they write? What are the references they take into account? How do they manage the subjective references sprang from their own analysis? What is the role of their subjectivity and to what extent is it concerned ? Once an academic study on the references cited (the Law, family, child and “subjectivity”) and a work on the source phenomena of the writing process (perception, observation and interpretation) had been done, our research methodology allows us to observe and to classify the tensions between subjective belief and professional references while the report is written. Thus, we can define a typology of approaches regarding social workers when they‘re writing their report. This typology can contribute to the development of initial and / or ongoing education but it is also an argument to rethink the role of the institution. Indeed, the subjective commitment of the social worker in his writing is essential and must not be forgotten. It is necessary for the social worker to be part of an institution which is able to give personal satisfaction, to support and to train

Der volle Inhalt der QuelleStein’s method constitutes one of the main techniques to solve some approximation problems in probability theory. In this manuscript, we apply it in the context of point processes. The first part of these investigations focuses on the Poisson point process. Its characteristic independence property provides a way to explain intuitively why a sequence of point processes becoming less and less repulsive can converge to such a point process. More generally, this leads to show some convergence results for some sequences of point processes built by several operations such as superposition, thinning and rescaling. The use of a distance on point processes, the so-called Kantorovich-Rubinstein distance, enables moreover the getting of some convergence rates. The second part is centered on a class of point processes with important attractiveness, called discrete α-stable point processes. Their structure based on a Poisson point process gives us a way to enlarge to these point processes the method used previously and to propose new results, via some properties that we state on these point processes

Der volle Inhalt der QuelleThis research work deals with the services compositions at a business level: a business process is seen as a composition of services to achieve an objective, taking into account contextual information on the environment. Also, in this research, the idea of considering the compositions as a persistent artefact is developed for reuse and sharing purposes. The PAχ approach offers models of compositions in order to specify compositions at different levels of abstraction. At the intentional level, a composition of services is seen as a composition of business goals. At the orchestrated level, a composition of services is specified as a business process in which some activities and operations are abstract. At the executable level, a composition of services is a business process in which the activities are carried out by identified services. At the trace level, a composition of services is seen as the trace of the execution of a business process implemented by invocation of services. The PAχ approach provides a flexible approach based on co-engineering paradigm for defining business processes which satisfies a business need and based on the reuse of services and composition of services. The proposed approach is flexible because the realization of activities depends of the context in which the PAχ approach is deployed. The approach is based on co-engineering paradigm: it suggests involving business actors to design a process, i.e. a composition of services during execution. Co-engineering improves alignment between business needs and processes to satisfy these needs

Der volle Inhalt der QuelleCurrent softwares are built using agile and iterative development methods, where each iteration can be seen as a software evolution, to consider the new needs of users. In the Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) world, the design of software is made of service orchestration using business processes. The evolution step becomes a complex step, where a simple modification on a sub-part of a business process can have consequences on the entire system, causing for example its slowing down or its Quality of Service (QoS) degradation. As a result, it is necessary to preserve the QoS of software made of business processes by proposing agile and reliable evolution mechanisms that have to be minimal in order to not degrade the software performances. The contributions of this thesis are Blink, a development cycle to maintain the QoS during evolution, and Smile, a framework to maintain QoS during the evolution of a service-oriented software made of business processes. Smile relies on an evolution analysis determining its effect of the software QoS, by establishing causal relations between variables, operations, services and other parts of the system. By identifying the elements that are causally affected by the evolution and by ruling out the ones that are not, our approach enables the limitation of the number of elements to (re)check in order to assure a reliable evolution step, with a minimal (re)check step

Der volle Inhalt der QuelleDeterminantal point processes have sparked interest in very diverse fields, such as random matrix theory, point process theory, and networking. In this manuscript, we consider them as random point processes, i.e. a stochastic collection of points in a general space. Hence, we are granted access to a wide variety of tools from point process theory, which allows for a precise study of many of their probabilistic properties. We begin with the study of determinantal point processes from an applicative point of view. To that end, we propose different methods for their simulation in a very general setting. Moreover, we bring to light a series of models derived from the well-known Ginibre point process, which are quite suited for applications. Thirdly, we introduce a differentiable gradient on the considered probability space. Thanks to some powerful tools from Dirichlet form theory, we discuss integration by parts for general point processes, and show the existence of the associated diffusion processes correctly associated to the point processes. We are able to apply these results to the specific case of determinantal point processes, which leads us to characterizing these diffusions in terms of stochastic differential equations. Lastly, we turn our attention to the difference gradient on the same space. In a certain sense, we define a Skohorod integral, which satisfies an integration by parts formula, i.e. its adjoint is the difference operator. An application to the study of a random transformation of the point process is given, wherein we characterize the distribution of the transformed point process under mild hypotheses

Der volle Inhalt der QuelleAny organization involved in software engineering has to deal with reduction of production time and cost, in order to face the competitiveness challenge. This imperative of thinking the software economy resulted in the goal of getting better control on developer productivity. Software Reuse is a preferred way to increase the productivity, particularly when it is systematized. Two types of activities should be considered to improve software reuse, development for reuse and development by reuse. Several solutions have been proposed to contribute and improve development for reuse. For its part, product line approach is distinguished by its contribution to development by reuse through support and automation of selection, configuration, and derivation of new products. However, although this approach has positioned reuse as a core activity in its engineering process, it remains difficult to realize it in many situations. For example, due to lack of specification or management of variability which may occur in each artifacts from all steps of the engineering process. In this context, the general issue of this thesis consists in industrialization of software product line, by the contribution to systematization of reuse in each steps and automation of transitions between those steps. To better support the business agility, our first goal is the specification of variability within business process models, in order to make them directly usable into software factory. Our second goal is to introduce variability specification into requirements engineering, enabling systematic reuse of requirements models and establishing traceability links with previous models of variable business processes. Thus, an architecture model (service oriented) can be generated in software factory, as implementation of modeled business processes with compliance to specified requirements

Der volle Inhalt der QuelleMany studies seem to reveal the recent tendency towards the vertical disintegration of firms. At the same time however, the frequency of vertical integration remains high. The purpose of this thesis is to identify the determining factors for the evolution of the industry's vertical structure. With this intention, this work is both theoretical and empirical. We use microeconomic models of vertical equilibrium which differ from the dominant theories (new institutional theories and models with imperfect competition) by the explicit introduction of economies of vertical disintegration. We study the decision of firms to integrate or specialize, depending on the trade-off between the gain from the inter-firm division of labour (which changes with the size of the market) and the costs derived from using the market (mainly the transaction costs). The dynamic analysis of the division of labour makes it possible to show that the process of vertical integration-disintegration is related to the life cycle of the industry (Stigler, 1951). The empirical study (econometrics and data analysis) is based on the analysis of the strategic decisions made the managers of 200 French industrial firms. It confirms that the vertical strategy of these firms is related to the stage of the industry life cycle, and also to the degree of asset specificity, which determines the level of the inter-firms transaction costs

Der volle Inhalt der QuelleCan we content ourselves with the lack of objective data on a population as numerous in france as the administrative personnel? this is the issue of professional recognition which is here dealt with under the assumption that administrative personnel possesses craftsmanship. First, a brief historical sketch of the representations of administrat work and those that carry it out leads to the observation that, ever since the beginning of criticism against bureaucrac office clerks have always been disparaged by the public opinion complaining about the excessive power of administrations, for instance in popular literature and theater in the 19th century. As a matter of fact, even today, th administrative personnel remains tributary to this social representation. The 1960s and 70s are another important period of time, when the sociology of organizations and the movement of reflection on the social classes started to deal with t place of this rising category in the society. The first part of this research ends with a presentation of the administra personnel's search for an identity through the exteriorization of their professional experiences. A three-year field stu in a big public organization led to the reconstruction of the professionalcurriculum of abourt 50 office clerks ; the ce part of this thesis concerns the transformation of jobs into a crait. The concept of craft is here defined as a hard cor expertise, a common reference for secretaries and office clerks. As for the nature of administrative work, it is here defined through the obstacles encountered by the employes wehn describe their activity : an intangible material (information), indirect objectifes (the administration is a support for production), an uncertain ratio of work hours to yield, a definition of the professional specialty that is hardly operative in its traditional sense etc. This method, wh proper to the specificities of administrative work, leads to the more general issue of the sociologist's mode of intervention in an organization that is dealt with in the third part. Der volle Inhalt der QuelleIn the current economic and competitive environment, what distinguish the companies is their reactivity to provide increasingly complex products with increasingly diverse needs. To achieve this reactivity despite constraints, integrated engineering approachs have been emerged to better manage and organize the product life cycle. In this context, it is essential to take into account the characteristics' variations and their interdependencies to improve the performance (cost, risk, quality ...). This thesis was devoted to the generation of an optimal inspection plan including process variations monitoring and product variations control. A methodological framework for the co-conception of product control and process monitoring activities has been formalized and validated. This framework allows operational decision-making by the intervention of operational tools and ensures the satisfaction of strategic objectives (cost reduction, improved quality, increased productivity ...). FMEA, KC flowdown, and Activity Based Costing (ABC) were selected following a comprehensive literature review on quality planning and performance improvement. However, these tools present some lack to fill up and therefore are subjected to certain adaptations in order to best fit the needs of the proposed methodological framework. Integration of FMEA and KC flowdown resulted in a new tool called ACDE. As well the adaptation of ABC to estimate the cost of quality by "Quality-Driven ABC" was proposed. The application of these latter has been proposed to limit the inspection planning to “bare essentials activities

The first part of this work is dedicated to the numerical study of an industriallauncher integration process in co-operation with Airbus DS. It is a particular case of inventory control problems where a launch calendar has a key role. The model we propose implies that standard optimization techniques cannot be used. We then investigate two simulation-based algorithms. They return non trivial optimal policies which can be applied in actual practice. The second part of this work deals with the study of partially observable optimal stopping problems. We propose an approximation method using optimal quantization for problems with general state space. We study the convergence of the approximated optimal value towards the real optimal value. The convergence rate is also under study. We apply our method to a numerical example

Der volle Inhalt der QuelleAlongside a general inquiry on the role of transfer of acquired experience (TAE) in the process of organizational socialization, and on the implementation of the theoretical model of ‘multiple and active socialization', this research aims at identifying and explaining how such transfers of acquired experience apply to the case of women employed in male-dominated occupations. The objective is to emphasize the explanatory factors of individual variability of the activation and inhibition of transfers, on the occupational realm, and distinguish them from those related to the acquisition of experience in different areas and periods of socialization. We explore: the role of satisfaction from personal efficiency (SPE) at the intra-individual level; the role of perceived social support at the inter-individual level; and the role of gender at the occupational level. The empirical research carried out include detailed interviews with thirty female bus drivers on the transport network of the Toulouse metropolitan area, matched with a range of quantitative indicators. The identification of TAE allowed us to distinguish between three sub-groups of drivers, according to their level of transfer activation. An analysis of these sub-groups with respect to the research variables shows that high level of TAE activation is associated with high level of SPE, perception of an existing assessment support from the hierarchy, strong perception of gender differences, and actual experience of gender discrimination. The inhibition of TAE appears to be related to awareness gained from others' feedback on the irrelevance of some transfers

Der volle Inhalt der QuelleWe propose an approach for managing configurable Business Processes (cBP) that offer a consolidated view over these processes’ variants. A variant is the result of adjusting a BP in response to functional and/or structural needs. The approach uses a knowledge base to track the specificities of each variant that is represented as configurable Process Structure Tree (cPST). An implementation of the approach that consists of generating a cPST from a cBP is proposed. We apply this approach to compute configurable business process complexity and to prove its advantage for improving cBP quality
