Annotation:

Objetivo: analisar o desenvolvimento e aplicação do tratamento diretamente observado em casos de pacientes com tuberculose drogarresistente. Métodos: trata-se de um relato das experiências vivenciadas por acadêmicas de Enfermagem na execução do tratamento diretamente observado a pacientes com tuberculose drogarresistente desde o ano de 2018 até fevereiro de 2020. As informações contidas nos relatos foram adquiridas por meio de prontuários do serviço municipal e pela documentação estruturada mensalmente pelas extensionistas em planilhas do Microsoft Office 2016 durante o acompanhamento dos doentes. Resultados: A.A.M. 68 anos, tabagista e ex-etilista, resistente à Isoniazida e Estreptomicina, 18 meses de tratamento, mostrou-se muito receptivo com a equipe do Tratamento Diretamente Observado, seguindo as orientações passadas e contribuindo positivamente durante o tratamento, apresentando desfecho por cura e alta com exames satisfatórios. A.A.C 64 anos, etilista, tabagista ativo, resistente à Rifampicina, Isoniazida, Pirazinamida e Estreptomicina, 24 meses de tratamento, apresentou ausência de medidas de autocuidado, negação do diagnóstico, baixa adesão, uso de álcool e tabaco e rede de apoio insuficiente, segue no 19º mês de tratamento. Conclusão: São necessárias medidas de apoio para desestimular o uso do álcool e tabaco através de estratégias e ações multiprofissionais, com vistas no controle da combinação do uso de substâncias com a doença. Além disso, observa-se a necessidade de ações governamentais e intersetoriais que estimulem o combate e controle da TB na Atenção Primária estimulando a criação de vínculo do paciente com a unidade de saúde. Se investigó la influencia de la presencia de borras durante el reposo del vino base sobre algunos compuestos volátiles en el pisco, como: ácido acético, alcoholes superiores, ésteres y acetaldehído. Dos fracciones de vino base seco (con y sin borras) se almacenaron por cinco intervalos de tiempo: 0, 7, 20, 60, 150 días; y destiladas después. Los resultados indicaron que los piscos de vinos base con mayores tiempos de reposo presentan mayores contenidos de ácido acético (con borras: desde 0,15 g/L con 0 días de reposo hasta 0,30 g/L con 60 días de reposo y 0,69 g/L con 150 días de reposo; sin borras: desde 0,14 g/L con 0 días de reposo hasta 0,26 g/L con 150 días de reposo), propanol (con borras: desde 72,15 mg/100 mL A.A.c con 0 días de reposo hasta 105,34 mg/100 mL A.A. con 150 días de reposo), acetato de etilo (con borras: desde 22,00 mg/100 mL A.A. con 0 días de reposo hasta 43,10 mg/100 mL A.A. con 150 días de reposo) y acetato de iso-amilo (con borras: desde 0,00 mg/100 mL A.A. con 0 días de reposo hasta 10,57 mg/100 mL A.A. con 150 días de reposo); y menores contenidos de acetaldehído (con borras: desde 22,71 mg/100 mL A.A. con 0 días de reposo hasta 4,29 mg/100 mL A.A. con 60 días de reposo y 3,30 mg/100 mL A.A. con 150 días de reposo; sin borras: desde 16,98 mg/100 mL A.A. con 0 días de reposo hasta 4,30 mg/100 mL A.A. con 150 días de reposo). Los piscos destilados de vinos base con borras presentan mayores cantidades de acetato de etilo (22,00 vs. 16,61 mg/100 mL A.A.) y acetaldehído (22,71 vs. 16,98 mg/100 mL A.A.), que sus destilados de vinos base sin borras, con 0 días de reposo.

Este artigo retrata a convivência dos Semitas no Egito durante c. 9 séculos. Os egípcios e semitas se originaram do Sudeste da Etiópia em c. 8000 A.E.C. e se encontram como povos distintos em c. 3100 A.E.C.. Houve a primeira migração semítica de Hicsos e cananeus no Alto Egito em c. 1980 A.E.C. Durante a ascensão da 13ª Dinastia em c. 1803 A.E.C., tem a 14ª Dinastia semítica como rival, e ambas sucumbem à crise egípcia, quando os Hicsos sobem ao poder em c. 1649 A.E.C., que governam até 1550 A.E.C., sendo aproveitados no desenvolvimento da 18ª Dinastia. Em c. 1457 A.E.C., houve nova migração levantina principalmente no Baixo Egito, e envolvimento da elite egípcia com a cultura semítica expresso pelos seus deuses, o que durou até o colapso no Egito (c. 1175 – 1133 A.E.C.) ao perder a administração do Levante para a guerra, levando à sua não-atratividade política e econômica.

Competence is the ability of an individual to carry out a job correctly and has an advantage based on matters relating to knowledge, expertise, and attitude.This study aims to determine the effect of competencies, organizational culture, and organizational commitment on job satisfaction and its impact on employee performance at PT. Haji La Tunrung A.M.C in Makassar. The approach in this study is a quantitative. The population in this study were all employees at the company PT. Haji La Tunrung A.M.C. amounting to 48 people. The method of data collection is done using observations and questionnaires. Data were analyzed using path analysis. The results of this study indicate that (1) Competence has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction in the company PT. Haji La Tunrung A.M.C in Makassar. (2) Organizational culture has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction in the company PT. Haji La Tunrung A.M.C in Makassar. At national as well as international level the South African Freedom Charter has become a symbol of the long-standing struggle against apartheid. In this essay the emphasis will be on the charter's provisions relating to ethnicity. The question of ethnicity is a crucial one, for on its solution depends the outcome of the economic and other social problems which trouble South African society.The 1955 Freedom Charter, which was the outcome of a joint venture of the African National Congress (A.N.C.), the South African Indian Congress, the South African Coloured People's Organisation and the predominantly European South African Congress of Democrats, suggests a unitary, participatory welfare state, which will acccord equal rights to all “national groups and races”.For the A.N.C., the senior partner in the “Congress Alliance”, the reference in the charter to “national groups and races” soon became a major headache. Could it be said that the charter lent support to the creation of “four nations”? A number of people within the A.N.C. feared that much. Abstract Numerous research works indicate that staying in a hyperbaric environment is a stressor. We have undertaken studies using an animal model to determine the effect of hyperbaria on adrenocortical secretion and the level of adrenal ascorbic acid (a.a.a.). The research was conducted on 70 male hooded rats, which were divided into groups and subjected to hyperbaric air and oxygen at an overpressure of 1 and 3 atn, with some of the animals being additionally burdened with physical effort (swimming). It was found that short-term exposures (30 minutes) of rats to hyperbaric conditions caused a decrease in the content of a.a.a. With a prolonged (3-hour) exposure to 3 atm air the a.a.a. content returns to a normal level. A reduction in the a.a.a. content indicates the presence of stress in hyperbaric conditions in the rat, however, it does not allow to determine its intensity with the method used in the study.

<p>This study aims to identify the impact of the application of Activity Based Costing (A.B.C.) in the pricing of banking services in the Jordanian commercial banks, and to achieve the objectives of this study a questionnaire was designed and analyzed by (SPSS) program, was used descriptive statistics mean, standard deviation and percentages, as well as use the T-test to test the hypothesis of the study. One of the most important results of the study that the (A.B.C.) system helps in pricing and in compute cost of the banks services.</p><p>The study recommended that it has to update the hardware and software to suit the (A.B.C.) system, as well as the need to train workers in the Jordanian commercial banks in supervisory positions for the application and implementation of the (A.B.C.) system to help in operations costing and pricing of banking services.</p>

(1915-1934) between 1916 and 1922, with emphasis the series of chapters of the satire Os Bruzundangas; we also investigate the weekly publication in order to paint an accurate picture of it. The analysis of these texts in as a whole has not been done until now, and was made with the intention of possibly noting the influence of the medium on its production. Annexed to the dissertation we have Lima Barreto's writings that were not yet edited, a critical comparison between the chapters of Os Bruzundangas published in A.B.C. and an index of the periodical during the production of satires and illustrations. We intend to provide a better understanding of Lima Barreto's work, as well as make resources available to future researchers of the author and the theme

O presente trabalho propõe uma abordagem complementar ao ensino dos modos gregorianos, que faz parte do programa do primeiro ano de Análise e Técnicas de Composição (A.T.C.). Ao invés da utilização dos modos estar circunscrita à música medieval e renascentista, pretende-se que os alunos adquiram uma visão mais global da utilização dos modos, incluindo a música Hindustani e a música tradicional portuguesa. Do ponto de vista da composição, enquanto que em A.T.C os modos servem de base à escrita de contraponto de espécies, neste estudo servem de base à improvisação, nos instrumentos dos alunos, seguindo o modelo da música Hindustani. Finalmente, explora-se a possibilidade de aplicar a mesma abordagem a outros conteúdos da disciplina
The present document proposes a complementary approach to gregorian modes, part of the first year’s programme in the subject of Analysis and Composition Techniques (A.T.C.). Instead of confining the use of gregorian modes to medieval and renaissance music, we intend that the students acquire a global vision of the modes’ use, including Hindustani and traditional portuguese music. While in A.T.C. the modes serve as basis to species counterpoint, in this study they are used for improvisation, in the students’ instruments, following the model of Hindustani music. Finally, this approach is applied to other contents of the subject.

El objetivo principal de esta tesis ha consistido en Desarrollar una propuesta de implantación del ABC al sector hotelero. También se ha perseguido revisar los sistemas de costes aplicados al sector hotelero para superar los inconvenientes que presentan, mejorar la comprensión del ABC orientado a las empresas de servicios y exponer una revisión de las últimas tendencias en la investigación sobre el ABC.

La estructura de esta tesis es la siguiente. Tras una breve introducción, se estudian en el primer capítulo la evolución y las fuentes doctrinales del ABC. El segundo capítulo se dedica al análisis de la viabilidad del sistema ABC en empresas de servicios. Se han revisado distintas publicaciones al respecto sobre casos tan diversos como los referidos a ferrocarriles, hospitales, bancos, empresas financieras, comunicaciones, compañías de seguros, etc.

En el tercer capítulo se estudia el sector turístico y las particularidades de la empresa hotelera, revisando las publicaciones de estudios de costes más destacados relacionados con la misma y de estudios de ABC en hoteles.

En los capítulos cuarto y quinto se han desarrollado la aplicación práctica del sistema ABC en una empresa hotelera real mediante el método del caso. Primero se exponen las fases de la implantación llevadas a cabo en relación con la identificación, codificación y análisis de las actividades realizadas en los distintos procesos de la empresa. Se han elaborado los mapas y el diccionario de las actividades. Se ha realizado la fase de racionalización de las mismas con el fin de agregarlas o desglosarlas según convenga. Después se han analizado todos los elementos de coste consumidos en la empresa, determinando después el coste de las actividades y de los servicios y productos. También se calculan los resultados obtenidos en la organización.

Las conclusiones alcanzadas están relacionadas con el sistema ABC en general y con la aplicación del mismo al sector hotelero. Entre ellas remarcamos el hecho de haber comprobado que el ABC es aplicable a empresas de servicios y, en especial a las hoteleras, al menos en el caso estudiado y de haber constatado que es crucial tener en cuenta el factor humano (trabajadores, dirección, equipo del proyecto) en el proceso de aplicación del ABC.
The primary target of this thesis has consisted of Developing a proposal of implantation of the ABC to the hotel sector. Also it has been persecuted to review the systems of costs applied to the hotel sector to surpass the disadvantages that present/display, of improving the understanding of the ABC oriented to the companies of services and to expose a revision of the last tendencies in the investigation on the ABC.

The structure of this thesis is the following one. After a brief introduction, the evolution and the doctrinales sources of the ABC have been studied in the first chapter. The second chapter is dedicated to the analysis of the viability of the ABC system in companies of services. Different publications have been reviewed on the matter on as diverse cases as the railroad referred ones, hospitals, banks, financial companies, communications, insurance agencies, etc.

In the third chapter, the tourist sector and the particularitities of the hotel companies have been studied, reviewing publications of studies of more outstanding costs related to the same one and of ABC studies in hotels.

In the chapters fourth and fifth the practical application of the ABC system in real a hotel company has been developed by means of the case method. First the carried out phases of the implantation in relation to the identification, codification and analysis of the made activities in the different processes from the company are exposed. The maps and the dictionary of the activities have been elaborated. The phase of their rationalization has been made. Later all the elements of cost consumed in the company have been analyzed, determining after this the cost of the activities and the services and products. Also the results obtained in the organization have been calculated.

The reached conclusions are related to the ABC system in general and its application to the hotel sector. Among them we emphasizes the fact of to have verified that the ABC is applicable to companies of services and, in special to the hotel case studied and to have stated at least that is crucial to consider the human factor (workers, direction, equipment of the project) in the process of application of the ABC.

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the relationship of pre-entrance factors and the success of students in an Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) degree nursing program at a community college in East Tennessee. The criterion variable was success in the nursing program. Success was defined as academic success in all nursing courses and completion of the nursing program to graduation. The predictor variables of pre-entrance factors were gender, age, Health Education Systems, Incorporated (HESI) A2 scores, Pell Grant eligibility, pre-nursing GPA, and prior licensure. The data for this non-experimental secondary analysis were derived from the electronic database in the community college Banner system. The population of the study consisted of all students accepted into the A.A.S. Nursing Program at a selected community college for academic years beginning 2013-14, 2014-15, and 2015-16. The population of the study was approximately 300 students. Analyses of the data were completed using independent samples t-test and chi-square cross tabs. Findings revealed that the mean HESI A2 scores were higher in those students that successfully completed the Nursing program than those that did not complete the program. Findings revealed a statistical significance between gender and program completion with females more likely to successfully complete the nursing program than male students. The factors that had no significant relationship to successful completion were age, high school GPA, Pre-nursing GPA and holding prior licensure. Findings also revealed students who are Pell eligible were not significantly more likely to complete the nursing program than those students who were not Pell eligible.

O presente trabalho propõe uma abordagem diferente e complementar ao ensino do contraponto de espécies, conteúdo lecionado nas escolas de música oficiais no 6º grau na disciplina de Análise e Técnicas de Composição (A.T.C.). Ao partir de um cantus firmus pop/rock ao invés de cantus firmi modais ou tonais, pretende-se que os alunos compreendam que o contraponto é uma técnica de composição que, embora seja centenária, tem aplicações transversais a vários estilos e géneros musicais da atualidade.
The present document proposes a different and complementary approach to species counterpoint, which is taught in the official music schools on the 6th grade, in the subject of Analysis and Composition Techniques (A.T.C.). Using a pop/rock derived cantus firmus as a basis instead of the modal or tonal cantus firmi, we intend that the students understand that the counterpoint is a composition technique which, although it’s centenary, it has transversal applications to various musical styles and genres of the present day.

Seymour’s Second Neighborhood Conjecture (SNC) says that every oriented graph contains a vertex whose second neighborhood is at least as large as its first neighborhood. We prove that asymptotically almost surely (a.a.s.) every orientation of the binomial random graph G(n, p) satisfies the SNC if n4p6 → 0. We also show that if p ∈ (0, 2/3), then a.a.s. a uniformly-random orientation of G(n, p) satisfies the SNC, settling it for almost every labeled oriented graph.

We study a more general model to generate random instances of Propositional Satisfiability (SAT) with n Boolean variables, m clauses, and exactly k variables per clause. Additionally, our model is given an arbitrary probability distribution (p_1, ..., p_n) on the variable occurrences. Therefore, we call it non-uniform random k-SAT. The number m of randomly drawn clauses at which random formulas go from asymptotically almost surely (a.a.s.) satisfiable to a.a.s. unsatisfiable is called the satisfiability threshold. Such a threshold is called sharp if it approaches a step function as n increases. We identify conditions on the variable probability distribution (p_1, ..., p_n) under which the satisfiability threshold is sharp if its position is already known asymptotically. This result generalizes Friedgut’s sharpness result from uniform to non-uniform random k -SAT and implies sharpness for thresholds of a wide range of random k -SAT models with heterogeneous probability distributions, for example such models where the variable probabilities follow a power-law.

Falar em evidências iconográficas significa apostar na capacidade que os registros imagéticos remanescentes da Grécia antiga possuem para testemunhar aspectos da vida social e cultural de então. Implica, portanto, uma tomada de partido teórico e metodológico. Implica assumir um pressuposto: a validade epistemológica das imagens, no caso a pintura dos vasos áticos dos séculos VI a IV A.E.C., como fonte para o conhecimento da história-acontecimento da Grécia Antiga. Significa, portanto, acreditar que os conteúdos imagéticos desta pintura de vasos, produzidos há vinte e cinco séculos, tenham relação com aspectos da vida cotidiana e das representações culturais da época. No caso do tema proposto – a participação de mulheres no mundo do trabalho e na vida intelectual e artística – implica, mais ainda, considerar a possibilidade de que estes registros iconográficos nos levem a reconsiderar, reformular, nossos conceitos sobre o lugar da mulher na Grécia antiga, sustentados sobre uma tradição historiográfica embasada, sobretudo, nos testemunhos literários. Discorrer sobre o tema proposto, portanto, acarreta estabelecer um conjunto de reflexões conceituais sobre o uso da iconografia em constante diálogo com os registros escritos e sobre a condição da mulher na sociedade grega antiga.

Context: The literature on interstitial microtriplications at the 16p11.2 locus is scarce and unclear. We bring a rare case of microtriplications in the 16p11.2 locus associated with Syndromic Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Intellectual Disability (ID) to stimulate discussion about this rare and complex condition. Case report: A.M.C., female, 10 years old, with history of agitation and aggression. Referred to neuropediatrician at 6 years old for behavioral change, socialization difficulties, agitation, heteroaggressiveness, developmental delay and school difficulty. She is not literate, has motor stereotypes when agitated, preferably plays with younger children, has tactile (water), taste (food) and sound sensory dysfunction, a low frustration threshold, difficulty in accepting routine changes and BMI of 14. Genetic evaluation showed interstitial triplication of 610Kb in the short arm of chromosome 16, raising diagnostic hypotheses of ASD and ID. Conclusions: Changes in microduplication in this locus are predisposing genetic factors for neurodevelopmental delays, ASD and ID. Changes in the number of 16p11.2 copies are believed to promote BMI index body change and brain changes in a dose-dependent manner on the phenotype. Brain changes include areas associated with reward, language and cognition. We bring this case to bring attention and discussion about to this rare condition.

Introdução: A Hanseníase é uma doença infectocontagiosa de notificação compulsória causada por um bacilo álcool-ácido-resistente (a.a.r.) e Gram-positivo, classificado como Mycobacterium leprae, que tem a capacidade de afetar células nervosas, causando manchas brancas ou vermelhas na pele, placas, nódulos, edemas, restrição de movimento. O continente brasileiro ocupa o segundo lugar mundial em casos de Hanseníase, perdendo a primeira posição apenas para a Índia. Objetivo: avaliar a incidência da hanseníase no Brasil entre os anos de 2015 e 2020. Metodologia: trata-se de uma pesquisa epidemiológica descritiva, retrospectiva e com abordagem quantitativa. Resultados: O Brasil é hoje o segundo país com mais casos de Hanseníase, Segundo a Organização Mundial da Saúde (OMS). No ano de 2017, enquanto o Brasil teve 26.875 casos, a Índia teve 126.164. Com seu maior pico de casos em 2003 (51.941 casos), assumindo uma quantidade de 30 mil casos por ano na última década, o Ministério da Saúde oficializou em 2016 o mês de janeiro, e consolidou a cor roxa para campanhas educativas sobre a doença no país. A incidência de casos desde 2017 continuou se agravando, chegando a 28.660 em 2018 e 27.864 em 2019, porém em 2020 obteve uma queda de drástica nesse percentual muito provavelmente pelo isolamento social que chegou a atingir toda população, o território brasileiro somou uma incidência de 13.807 casos de Hanseníase, diminuindo quase que 50% da sua incidência anual. Conclusão: Fica evidente, para tanto, que trata-se de um problema atual em que as formas de erradicação baseia-se nos cuidados básicos a saúde dos brasileiros, como proporcionar saneamento básico, água potável e demais condições de vida.
